In the case of Spider-Man, Kingpin recognizes the Wall-Crawler as the only man in New York City with the power to put a stop to him. Over the years, however, Kingpin's also increased in his respect for Daredevil. Kingpin respects Matt Murdock so much, he's personally foiled other villains' plans against the hero.
What is the relationship between Daredevil and Kingpin?
One of the most feared, dangerous and powerful crime lords in the Marvel Universe, usually depicted as New York City's crime overlord, the Kingpin was introduced as an adversary of Spider-Man, but later went on to be the archenemy of Daredevil, as well as a recurring foe of the Punisher, and his adoptive daughter Echo.
Silke is absolutely dumbfounded that Kingpin knows who Daredevil is and still hasn't made a move, but it's not just Kingpin who knows. It turns out that all of Kingpin's men are aware of this secret, and they pretend otherwise because they don't want to draw their boss' ire.
After overcoming these obstacles, the Man Without Fear decided that he'd had enough. Daredevil came after Fisk, just as the Kingpin was about to reconsolidate his power. The two foes got into their most brutal physical confrontation yet, ending with Daredevil beating the Kingpin within an inch of his life.
Kingpin - A ruthless crime lord and the archenemy of Daredevil, indeed uncontested as Daredevil's greatest enemy. The Kingpin also serves as an enemy for the Punisher and Spider-Man.
In the early years of Punisher's career as a vigilante, his main foe is the Costa crime family, those responsible for the deaths of his innocent wife and children. In particular he targets Billy Russo AKA Jigsaw, who remains one of Frank's longtime foes.
In the comic books, Wilson Fisk realized from an early age that physical strength was necessary to establish power as a criminal. Fisk started training to achieve peak human strength during his teenage years, which was when he developed a fascination for sumo wrestling and other strength-focused martial arts.
At the same time, Fisk found himself rattled after a meeting with Karen Page; she told him Karen telling him she was the one who had killed his colleague, and trusted friend, James Wesley. Fisk ordered Karen's death and sent Poindexter, again dressed as Daredevil, to take care of her.
The Assassination of Bill Fisk was Wilson Fisk's retaliation against his father following another fight between his parents, Bill and Marlene Fisk. When Bill began beating his wife, Wilson stepped in and smashed his father's head in with a hammer, killing him.
Blaming Spider-Man for taking his family from him once again, Kingpin brutally beats Miles down, sadistically remarking that he's going to make sure he never sees his own family ever again.
As Fisk tells Matt in the phone conversation that follows, "For a blind man, you have very impressive reflexes, Mr. Murdock." While it's never overtly confirmed that Fisk knows about Matt's secret identity, this incident is essentially what prompts Fisk to directly target Matt.
While he manipulated events from the shadows, Kingpin would hire other assassins such as Bullseye and Typhoid Mary to face Matt Murdock one-on-one. However, he could still physically dominate Daredevil, and even beat him unconscious in Daredevil Vol 1. #228.
The two have had fleeting interactions within Marvel Comics, however, in Joe Fixit #2 (Peter David, Yildiray Cinar, Dee Cunniffe, and VC's Ariana Maher), fans learned that Kingpin has a substantial amount of respect for Peter Parker.
Douglas: At first, we were discussing how to make Kingpin use his technology. He didn't learn sign language. He didn't want to learn and would hire interpreters. But he decided not to hire interpreters as he wanted to use advanced technology, we wanted to make it “imperfect” for Deaf people.
Later, during a fight between Daredevil and Bullseye, Karen is murdered by Bullseye when she moves to intercept a billy-club thrown at Daredevil's head and is impaled in the heart.
Discovering that Marlene Vistain revealed incriminating information about Fisk to Ben Urich and his confidant Karen Page, Wesley secretly kidnapped Page to make her confess. However, Wesley's overconfidence contributed to his downfall, as Page was able to disarm Wesley and shoot him to death in order to escape.
Faced with certain death, she almost committed suicide by heroin overdose but was rescued by Daredevil, who had regained his sanity. When Karen revealed her betrayal, he forgave her and helped her overcome her addiction.
Although Spider-Man manages to interfere in the Hulk's rampage, Kingpin's subtle attack is still largely effective and proves just how dangerous anyone can be in the Marvel Universe. The Hulk is a being of limitless strength, and even at his weakest, he could crush Kingpin with one hand.
Wilson Fisk grew up in poverty and was tormented by his classmates for being overweight. Tired of being bullied, he began to train himself in physical combat. When he gained a powerful physique, he forced his former tormentors into joining his gang, and thus, his desire for absolute control began.
By far the most brutal death is when Deadpool kills Spider-Man while wearing the Venom symbiote. Deadpool uses the symbiote's ability to bypass Peter's spider-sense in order to ambush him. He then quickly overpowers Spider-Man, and horrifyingly, eats his brain while Peter is completely helpless to stop him.
For those who don't know, Frank Castle, aka The Punisher hates the police. He does not trust them, he thinks they're corrupt, and especially hates anyone who tries to adopt his symbol.
There's a possibility the Punisher could get the better of Batman in a chance first encounter, but Batman's superior skills, training, and resources would quickly tip the scales in his favor.
The rivalry between Daredevil and the Punisher is one of the greatest in the Marvel Universe. Matt Murdock and Frank Castle have a love/hate relationship that often ends in the two heroes finally seeing eye-to-eye, usually after a violent (and oftentimes bloody) confrontation.
