There is one subplot added for the show: after being raped by Gundleus a couple episodes back, Nimue is now pregnant with his child. Merlin encourages her to keep the baby, since apparently the gods will be upset if she doesn't; I don't know what druidic dogma had to say about abortion, but sure.
The jealous minor character is also killed before the evil god is stopped and Khamsin nearly dies taking a blow for Wynter just after he's freed from the Ice Heart. An epilogue shows her pregnant with twins and establishes the next book's pairing.
When he arrives, Gundleus kills Norwenna and, it seems, also the baby Mordred. Then, in retribution for Nimue's curse, he rapes her and plucks out an eye.
Assuming that he was dead, Nimueh began walking away, but Merlin recovered from the blow while her back was turned and struck her down with a bolt of lightning. In doing so, he not only killed Nimueh, but mastered the power over life and death to trade her life for Gaius' (Le Morte d'Arthur).

Is Nimue Merlin's daughter?
Jonah was Lenore's husband and was presumably Nimue's father, until it had been revealed that Merlin is her father. He suspected of Nimue not being his biological daughter after the village began ostracizing her for having "demon blood."He eventually left the village when he couldn't handle Nimue anymore.
In Le Morte d'Arthur, on the other hand, Nimue is still the one to trap Merlin, but Malory gives her a sympathetic reason: Merlin falls in love with her and will not leave her alone; Malory gives no indication that Nimue loves him back.
Pelleas /ˈpɛliəs/, or Pellias, is an Arthurian Knight of the Round Table whose story first appears in the Post-Vulgate Cycle. He becomes the husband of Nimue, the Lady of the Lake in Le Morte d'Arthur.

She's a pretty nice, rounded characters. Nimue isn't 'evil' at all. Nimue takes Merlin's power because she loves him, and traps him in the cave/tree (depends which version of the Arthurian legend you have) because she wants to keep him for herself.
