Participants. Twenty-two years before the Battle of Yavin, and shortly after the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were married in a secret wedding on Naboo.
That changed by the time of their next meeting, in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, when another 10 years had passed. It was at this point, when Anakin was 19 and Padmé was 24, that the two developed genuine feelings for one another and married in secret.

The two do whilst being transported to their seeming execution on Geonosis, however, with Padme believing they're almost certainly dead, and thus have no need to protect themselves. When they survive, Padme decides that she can't hide her love for Anakin, and the two marry despite the risks.
If Anakin had never fell in love with Padmé, he would've never turned to the Dark Side because it was his fear for losing Padmé and his two unborn children which caused him to be easily seduced by the Dark Side of the Force. It was his fear which made it much easier for Palpatine to manipulate Anakin.
Anakin does not have even the slightest bit of remorse. By the end, he feels nothing but anger. Although he feels regret for killing Padme, he still helps the evil Emperor. The film ends with Anakins standing side by side with the man on whose behalf he has committed all his crimes.

Padmé's death disappointed audiences when they saw Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, but one theory posits that Palpatine was the one to kill Padmé. A Star Wars theory suggests that Padmé did not die of a broken heart, but rather that she was killed by Palpatine.

The story is Anakin was manipulated to the dark side by Palpatine based on fears of losing Padme and appeals to his desire power and agency, over his life and the galaxy as a whole.
What he did not see, at the time at least, was that Padmé used her last breaths to tell Obi-Wan that she was certain that in regards to her husband, "there's still good in him." Now, those words are set to be revealed to someone other than Darth Vader himself.
Amidala's body was taken to Naboo aboard Organa's ship, the Tantive III, and prepared by mortician Commodex Tahn, who made it look as if she had died pregnant. Her death was attributed to the alleged Jedi Rebellion that had prompted Order 66.
At some point after his transformation into the armored Darth Vader, Amidala's husband, the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker came to visit the mausoleum, stricken by grief and remorse for his part in her death.

However, when it comes to who Darth Vader hates more than anyone in the Star Wars galaxy, himself and Obi-Wan Kenobi don't hold a candle to the true point of Darth Vader's hatred, Emperor Palpatine.
Anakin Skywalker never knew Padmé was pregnant with twins, and he believed his child had died with his wife. He had no idea Padmé had given birth before she died, still less that the Jedi had spirited the children away and hidden them.
Anakin truly did care for Padme, except Anakin was not at all in his right mind when he choked her. Anakin has many issues, he has tramua both from war and childhood, he has sever fear of loss and he is extremely loyal to the ones he chooses to befriend. This all comes into play in this moment when he chokes her.
Anakin's obsession towards Padme can be seen as a reason for him to use the Jedi mind trick on her, but he remains loyal to his heart and does what anyone would do for someone they love; he dedicates time to her, he fights for her, and he worries for her.
