This is one of my favorite aspects of Disney on Ice. You won't be seeing the same show year after year because the show and theme changes. This means that the characters involved in the show change as well.
Disney On Ice comes several times a year and they're all about Disney; however, each show covers different Disney movies and Disney characters. For example, Follow Your Heart's main presentations were from the movie Inside Out, Finding Dory and Frozen.
Disney on Ice currently runs eight to eleven productions and touring companies at any given time. The shows have played all over the world, including non-traditional skating regions, like South America, the Middle East, and Asia, as well as more traditional markets, such as North America, Australia, and Europe.
After seeing so many shows it takes a lot to wow me but the Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder did just that. It seems fitting that this celebration of a milestone is the best Disney on Ice yet.
How long is the show? Disney On Ice productions vary in length, but they average between one hour and a half to two hours. This includes a 15-20 minute intermission. Does Disney On Ice features any special effects during the show?
I agonized over it, because I wanted to make sure my kids could see every jump, leap, and twist. The best seats do come at a higher cost, but if the front row is important to you, then it may be worth the price. We ended up in a middle section, and the view was wonderful.
Aimed primarily at children, the shows feature figure skaters portraying the roles of Disney characters in performances derived from various Disney films.
Aim for the middle of the “long side” of the ice if possible; Try not to sit in the corners of the venue (exception: for some shows/venues, there have been podiums in one or more corners of the rink where performers have stood to perform solos and such like.
Join Mickey and friends as they meet characters from films such as "Cinderella," "Aladdin," "Cars," "The Princess and the Frog," "Moana," "Frozen 2," "Encanto" and more. The new show hits the ice in fall 2023 and includes the Disney on Ice debut of Raya and the "Frozen 2" versions of Anna and Elsa.
All had been dancing since they were just young children. Madeleine added: "Some of the challenges though, you wouldn't expect, like we have to make sure we know the song in every language so we can lip sync it correctly. "So we could be in France, so we'll have to lip sync along to all the songs in French."

World on Ice The first edition of Walt Disney's World on Ice premiered in an arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 14, 1981. The show was produced by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows, Inc.

But, turns out, the venerable touring ice extravaganza isn't all princesses and fairies. In fact, Disney has done a lot to ramp up the “boy factor” and broaden the appeal of its “100 Years of Magic” production currently touring the country. The result is a production fit for Woody as much as Jessie, so to speak.
