In that movie, it looked like the twist would be the police killing Chris when he was just trying to defend himself, but there was a twist that allowed him to not only escape but to live. The bad guys got what was coming to them and the hero lived to tell his story.
The Original Ending of 'Get Out' Was Way More Depressing
Police sirens arrive, briefly scaring the audience as Rose starts crying for help with Chris in a compromising and guilty position. Luckily, the driver of the police car is revealed to be Chris' friend Rod (Lil Rel Howery), who has come to rescue him.
Following an attack from Walter, who shot Rose, Chris was finally rescued by Rod, who after not receiving help from the police, decided to help his friend himself. Chris and Rod drove away and left Rose to bleed out on the road, and Chris became the only real survivor of the horrors of the Order of the Coagula.
Instead of rescuing Chris, Rod meets him in jail and asks him for information about the Armitage family to investigate, but Chris insists that he stopped them and everything is fine. Peele intended this ending to reflect the realities of racism.
As Chris enters the police car, Rose can only watch him and Rod drive away as she succumbs to her injuries, ending her family's insidious plans forever. With the entire Armitage family dead, the Coagula presumably dissolves, as well, preventing the cult's members from hijacking the bodies of future African-Americans.
Get Out sees Chris walk away from his nightmarish experiences, but Jordan Peele's alternate endings almost saw things end badly for him. Both of the Get Out alternate endings saw Chris lose, and here's how.

Suffocating on his own blood, Dean stumbles back into the operating room and knocks over a candle, before falling over and succumbing to his wounds. The candle ignites the sheets of Chris' intended surgery chair, the fire of which growing and (presumably) burning an unconscious Jim alive.

Although Jordan Peele has teased making a sequel to his directorial debut, Get Out, throughout his career, this would be a huge mistake. Despite Nope director Jordan Peele teasing it as a possibility, Get Out 2 can never happen.
Chris Washington is the main protagonist of Get Out and the ex-boyfriend of antagonist Rose Armitage, also best friend of Rod Williams. He is portrayed entirely by Daniel Kaluuya throughout the whole film, while the 11-year old version of Chris was portrayed by Zailand Adams.
Rose's family, it turns out, runs an underground transplant operation where the brains of white people are inserted into the bodies of blacks. To that end, the Order's current leader Dean Armitage had his son Jeremy Armitage kidnap Andre to the Armitage mansion.
Chris then wakes up tied to a chair facing a TV, and, in a chilling twist, the diabolical plan of the Armitages is finally revealed. They have been abducting and hypnotizing African-Americans to implant the consciousness of wealthy white individuals into their bodies in a procedure titled The Coagula.

In the beginning the rabbits were locked up in cages, symbolizing the loss of free will and movement. When Adelaide was switched, Red had more control of her body as she was from the surface. Since she had control she was able to free the rabbits from their cages.
However, Chris remembers that the flash of his camera triggered Andre to escape the “Sunken Place;” he once again uses his camera to free Walter's mind. Walter shoots both Rose and himself, but Chris can't bring himself to kill Rose. He decides to leave her bleeding on the sidewalk as he attempts to find a way home.
