Dumbo gains fame and fortune, Timothy becomes his new manager and signs him to a Hollywood contract, and Mrs. Jumbo is freed. She and Dumbo are given a private coach on the train, and the crows wave goodbye to the elephants as they travel away.
In the end of the film, when Dumbo and his mother are freed, Max Medici reopens his own circus that's humane to all animals and performers, allowing monkeys, snakes, horses and more live freely and assuring guests that the Medici Family Circus, as it's now called, is a place for everyone to be free and happy.
When children in the crowd tease Dumbo, Mrs Jumbo wants to defend her baby and punish the bullies. She loses her temper and is declared a dangerous, mad elephant. As a result, Mrs Jumbo is separated from Dumbo and locked in a cage. This leaves poor Dumbo desperate and alone.
Dumbo is awarded the proper ending he deserves, though, as the other circus performers help him and his mother escape the circus completely. The final moments of the film show Mrs. Jumbo and Jumbo joining their fellow elephants in the wild. The other animals accept Dumbo for who he is as he soars through the air.
Dumbo does NOT have a post-credits scene, but it does have a fun musical cue at the very end of the movie. Although the credits are always worth watching to get an idea of who had a hand in making that film, viewers checking out Dumbo shouldn't be expecting an extra scene at the very end.
At the end of the animated movie, Dumbo stays in the circus and gets his mom bailed out of elephant jail and into a private train cart. But in the end of the newer movie, Dumbo and Mrs. Jumbo are released back into the wild and free from the circus tent flaps.
Under the service's Stories Matter section, Disney explained its decision of removing the content. 'Dumbo,' made in 1941, features a group of crows who "pay homage to racist minstrel shows, where white performers with blackened faces and tattered clothing imitated and ridiculed enslaved Africans."
The Ringmaster is the main antagonist of Dumbo. At first glance, Disney's Dumbo may not be though of as a film that portrays disability, but its protagonist Dumbo has a deformity-- extra large ears. In the film, the baby elephant is ostracized. He is not allowed to participate in the circus and is seen as an outcast amongst his peers.
