Rey then proceeded to heal Kylo Ren's wound using the Force, before fleeing the planet in Ren's TIE whisper. Shortly after the Mission to Kef Bir, Rey lost her life in battle against the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Sidious during the Battle of Exegol.
Because the Force can't heal, it can just transfer life force from one subject to another. Rey transferred part of her own life force to heal the reptilian creature (that's what she explained) and she did the same to heal Kylo later. But then she died and Kylo gave her his full life to restore hers.

Though Rey Force-heals him, saving his life physically, this blow, coupled with the memory of his mother and father, destroys the man known as “Kylo Ren” forever.
The crossguard blades allow Ren's saber to operate safely – his weapon is constructed around a dangerously flawed kyber crystal, which would be overloaded if not for the lateral plasma vents that create the quillons.

Throughout the sequel trilogy, Kylo Ren serves as the master of the Knights of Ren, a warlord of the First Order, and both an adversary of and romantic interest for Rey.
And when Ben ran to her, stood by her, fought by her side, crawled out of a canyon to teach her, and gave the last of his life to heal her, what else was she supposed to do? He earned that kiss in the last third of the movie. Rey loved him. She kissed him.
Although Solo was the last of the Skywalker bloodline, Rey assumed the name "Skywalker" to honor their memory, repudiating her own heritage as a Palpatine.
Luke's words confirm that Leia discovered Rey was a Palpatine during her lifetime, either before or during the time jump between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. If Luke found out through his Sith investigations, or while training Rey on Ahch-To, he undoubtedly would've passed on this knowledge to his sister.
