Another character who can be argued to honor the Skywalker name without being one herself is Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka trained under Anakin Skywalker during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and personifies what the light-side aspect of the Skywalkers stands for, something explored even further in Ahsoka.
Ahsoka is indeed Anakin's Padawan learner – or at least, she was, before she walked away from the Jedi Order (more on that later). However, she was unaware that her former master and the Empire's fearsome new Sith Lord were one and the same. That all changed in Rebels when Ashoka came face to face with Darth Vader in a lightsaber battle on the planet Malachor V and was forced to come to terms with who she was actually dueling.

But in the end, all of Anakin's formal training and experience in war is going to trump anything Luke ever accomplished through his training. Luke may have been able to defeat Darth Vader, arguably a much better duelist than Anakin ever was, but there was a small issue with that accomplishment.
