Chucky comes back, though, as does Andy, in 1990's Child's Play 2. Now an 8-year-old, Andy is living with foster parents because his mom is undergoing psychiatric evaluation since nobody believes her crazy story about a killer doll. (This will be a reoccurring theme throughout Andy's life.)
The fifth episode of "Chucky" Season 2 gave us the surprise return of Andy Barclay, who we last saw supposedly careening to his death over a cliff in a death trap filled with vengeful Chuckys. (Chuckys plural, if you'll recall, because the OG Chucky split his soul into an army of Good Guy dolls in "Chucky" Season 1.)
Andy became a ward of the state, as it was mentioned in Child's Play, that his father was dead and it's implied there are no other relatives to take him in. He was sent to the Midtown Children's Crisis Center in downtown Chicago, Illinois, to await for temporary foster custody.
Episode 3 of Chucky's third season revealed a scene where Andy, played once again by original Child's Play star Alex Vincent, is living his life happy and carefree after the events of Chucky season 2.

How old is Andy in Chucky?
Andy (played by Alex Vincent in most of the films and in the series) made his debut as a 6-year-old in Child's Play, when he's gifted a Good Guy doll for his birthday. Unfortunately, as is so often the case, that Good Guy doll has been possessed by the spirit of a serial killer, the notorious Charles Lee Ray.
He first appeared as Andy Barclay in Child's Play (1988) when he was a six-year-old. Two years, later during the filming of Child's Play 2 (1990), the young actor endured long days and demanding action that would have tried the patience of many an older person.
Andy, now 16 years old, is at military school when evil Chucky finds him again. But this time, the homicidal doll preys on one of Andy's younger companions!
Andy, now 17 years old, is preparing to leave for college. He has not played with his toys for years, and only Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Bullseye, Rex, Slinky, Hamm, Mr. and Mrs.
Summaries. While Andy's mother is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, the young boy is placed in foster care, and Chucky, determined to claim Andy's soul, is not far behind.
Kyle follows Chucky and Andy to the factory, where Chucky knocks Andy unconscious and attempts the ritual to transfer his soul into Andy. However, Chucky is able to finish the chant until suddenly, his nose starts to bleed.
Child's Play 2 (1990) does make her fate seem dark, however. She didn't back off from sticking to Andy's claims of a killer doll, causing the two to be separated. Little Andy is left with a framed photo of them in happier times. He goes into the foster care system while his mom is institutionalized.
The film sees Alex Vincent and Brad Dourif reprise their respective roles as Andy Barclay and the voice of Chucky, while Christine Elise plays Andy's foster sister, Kyle.
As a result, his persona changed from one of murder and toxicity to one of almost childlike innocence. However, the dam seemingly began to break as the “real” Chucky poked through, resulting in the defenestration of Nadine as well as a full-on return to evil once Andy Barclay and the gang came to give him an exorcism.
Movies. The Three Technicians are employees at Play Pals, two of them are in the beginning of Child's Play 2, working at the company around the time when Mr. Sullivan wanted the Chucky doll repaired. The third one was working the night shift at the end of Child's Play 2.
Now living with foster families two hours apart, Jake (Zackary Arthur) and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) try to make the whole long distance relationship thing work. Easier said than done because Jake now has a young foster brother, the Batman-obsessed Gary (Simon Webster), who takes up a lot time and attention.
Andy is one of the foundational characters of the Toy Story franchise, with his relationship with Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang being at the heart of the franchise's first three films. However, the events of Toy Story 3 required Andy to not appear in Toy Story 4, with his absence really being felt.
Toy Story 3, the third film in the franchise, was released on June 18, 2010, nearly 11 years after Toy Story 2. The plot focuses on the toys being accidentally dropped off at a daycare center while their owner, Andy, is getting ready to go to college.
As a human, Tiffany made her debut as a young woman in her early 30's. She is usually seen wearing black lingerié and other gothic attire such as almost always wearing black tops that reveals both her tattoo and cleavage. As a doll, Tiffany's soul inhabits a bridal doll she gave Chucky to mock him.
In the next film, Alice learns she has been put under the guardianship of Chucky's girlfriend, Tiffany Valentine, who tells Nica that Alice died. Later in the film, it is revealed that Chucky was able to possess Alice but she "died" after one of Chucky's intended victims fought back.
With the new information offered by Chucky's long-awaited backstory for Charles Lee Ray, merged with the doll's subsequent shelf life, Chucky is officially, as of 2021, a 64-year-old soul hiding behind an eternally youthful visage.
Jake takes Chucky to school the next day, hoping to sell it at a good price; he is then bullied by Lexy Cross, his cousin Junior's girlfriend. At night, Andy Barclay calls Jake and suggests caution with the doll. Upon confirming that Chucky works without batteries, Jake throws him away.
