Gamora is based on the character of the same name from the 2008 issue of the Guardians of the Galaxy teammates. The Peter and Gamora relationship is referred to as "Starmora". If following the actors age, Gamora is approximately thirty-five years old (in human years), but is actually twenty-five in Zehoberei years.
She's a member of an alien race, so Gamora's age is hard to nail down. However, she seems to be in her late 20s when she's hurled off a cliff in Infinity War. Hers is an impressively young age for someone known as the deadliest woman in the galaxy.
Gamora survived Tony's snap because she had changed allegiances when it happened. The stones can interpret the users' intentions, and Tony only snaps Thanos' invading forces. Nebula had already convinced Gamora that Thanos was in the wrong by this point, so the soul stone likely sensed that she was no longer a threat.
Trivia. It is most likely that Nebula is younger than Gamora because of her younger sibling-like behaviour. Zoe Saldana has said the relationship between Gamora and Nebula is her favorite aspect of Guardians of the Galaxy, and hits close to home for her, having sisters of her own.
In the pages of Infinity Watch, it is revealed that Gamora had been cybernetically enhanced to have superhuman strength, speed, and a rapid-healing ability.

Is Groot more powerful than Gamora?
Gamora is agile, hits hard, and shows no mercy, making her a real powerhouse among the Guardians. She's not as tough as Groot and Drax, but her exceptional skill makes her harder to hit, and she can use blades and firearms with equal skill in any battle.
Thanos never cared much for Nebula, even going so far as to say in Guardians of the Galaxy that Gamora was his favorite. That could be because, to Thanos, Nebula was nothing more than a means to spare Gamora while still obtaining the Soul Stone.
Why is Gamora so different in Guardians of the Galaxy 3?
That's the case of Variant Gamora. So, the version of Gamora who currently exists in the MCU came from a different timeline and never shared adventures with the Guardians. That explains why her relationship with Peter is completely different in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

A quick, comedic scene in Vol. 3's Orgocorp heist teases some potential romance between Peter Quill and Nebula, but James Gunn claims that it was never going to become anything more (per The New York Times).

Over the years, Gamora became Thanos' favorite child, and he considered her the future heir to his throne, which only strengthened the growing wedge in her relationship with Nebula and in time, Gamora built up the reputation as the "deadliest woman in the galaxy" and became well known throughout the cosmos.

The Gamora we knew before is not the Gamora we see in this film, and her hair, styled in locs, showcases her new lifestyle. “It almost felt like she just let her hair grow and she never did it,” says Russek.
While the Guardians celebrated their freedom within a bar, Tony Stark hooked up with Gamora. After the two had sex Gamora decided to return to the bar. On her way the warrior was attacked and injured by bounty hunter Maxilin the Accuser, just as she was about to be executed the bounty hunter was shot by Rocket Raccoon.
However, Drax maintained his immense strength and thirst for violence, which he was always known for. On the other hand, Gamora's origin remained intact. But in a recent video exploring the changes in her comic character to her MCU version, it's revealed that Gamora is actually much weaker than she should be.
Mantis would only beat Gamora if she managed to catch her off guard & used her powers to subdue her by putting her to sleep but in terms of overall ability & skill Mantis could not keep up with Gamora.
