Chucky season 3 has been renewed at Syfy and USA Network. 14-year-old Jake Wheeler buys a Chucky doll from a neighborhood yard sale to be used in his latest sculpture. Jake's mother has passed away in a car accident, and Jake's father, Luke, generally disapproves of his son's interests. Jake has dinner with his father, uncle Logan, aunt Bree, and his cousin, Junior.

With the new information offered by Chucky's long-awaited backstory for Charles Lee Ray, merged with the doll's subsequent shelf life, Chucky is officially, as of 2021, a 64-year-old soul hiding behind an eternally youthful visage.
Andy (played by Alex Vincent in most of the films and in the series) made his debut as a 6-year-old in Child's Play, when he's gifted a Good Guy doll for his birthday. Unfortunately, as is so often the case, that Good Guy doll has been possessed by the spirit of a serial killer, the notorious Charles Lee Ray.
It was expected to continue through August, however in mid-July production was interrupted due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Filming resumed on November 24 of the same year. The season will be split into two parts, with the first half airing in October 2023 and the other half airing in 2024.
It's unknown which legacy characters will return in Chucky season 3 other than Tiffany and Nica. Christine Elise as Kyle Barclay and Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay have the potential to come back. However, it's unlikely given their convention obligations during the summer of 2023.
Parents need to know that Child's Play is a 1988 horror movie in which a doll possessed by a recently-deceased serial killer goes after a little boy and those around him. 12 and up. This movie is an ok movie, I love how they try bringing Chucky back to scary after his last movie which was mostly comedy. There is a scene where a woman has an affair with the nanny. Some kissing scenes.
Just then the power goes out, and he goes down into the basement to check the fuse box. He flips the switches until the power comes back on, and sees Chucky standing in front of him. He vomits the whiskey he had drank earlier at Lucas' bare feet, which touches an exposed electric cable and electrocutes him to death.
Jake refuses to tell him the truth about Chucky, and the two are finally let out of the closet. They then hear people chanting Lexy's name, and witness her Halloween costume depicting Lucas' death.

The stakes are completely different now.” It's not just the visible signs of aging that are plaguing the serial killer though.
Chucky shoots De Silva in the leg; she tells Andy to go and face him alone. Andy pursues Chucky and stops him from completing the voodoo chant to possess Tyler. In an ensuing struggle, Andy cuts off Chucky's hand with Tyler's knife and throws him into a massive metal fan below, shredding his body apart and killing him.

Although released only nine months later, the story takes place eight years in 1998, following the events of 1990's Child's Play 2.
Chucky season 3, part 2 will return with four remaining episodes, as the show was split into two parts due to the strike. The Halloween episode served as a good cliffhanger, and the creators focused their resources on finishing the first four episodes.
