In the final moments of the film, K collapses in the snow and dies from his wounds sustained in battle, but not before fulfilling his mission and revealing to Deckard the truth about his own past. The film ends with Deckard reuniting with his long-lost daughter, Ana Stelline, in a poignant and emotional scene.
A good portion of the film has him genuinely go through arguably every human emotion in a very short amount of time. They still count even thought some of them were based on his erroneous belief of him being Deckard and Rachael's child, he still really felt them. There are numerous examples.
In actuality, he secretly does have feelings and emotions, underneath his stoicism lies a lonely and depressed man who sought meaning to his mundane life which is the motivation behind his search for the replicant daughter.
She weeps when they suffer and is heartbroken when they die, but is incapable of acting to stop either. Like so many people who feel helpless in today's society, Luv is a prisoner to her programming. Luv's first very-human tears come as she witnesses a murder.
His perfect match would disobey her programming to help him. Regardless of your opinions on the above, I do think that the movie clearly says that Joi's love for K was programmed/created by a corporation. But he loves her back.

K sees being born as a way to be more remarkable than other replicants. However, what he didn't realize is that he had a soul all along. K did not need to be born to be a unique experiencer, and the factor of having authentic subjective experiences defines us as people.
ESTJs are akin to Ryan Gosling in Blade Runner 2049 in his role as blade runner, K. He's loyal and reliable, as ESTJs are when put in a leadership position.
During the final fight with K, after subduing him, she smugly kissed him and retorted "I am the best one!", as if trying to prove her superiority over not just K, but all other replicants, further hinting at her deep-seated insecurities that she kept well-hidden.
However, he later learns that, even if the memory is real, it was not his own but Dr Ana Stelline's. Through her work, Dr Stelline shared her memory with K, and this allowed him to understand what it was like to walk in her shoes, but most importantly, to believe himself a free, loved replicant.
Because of this memory, K became convinced that he was Rachael and Deckard's child, but was eventually informed by Freysa that he was not and that the child was female. With this revelation, K soon determined that Stelline was the child. K took Deckard to Stelline's lab as she interacted with a snowfall hologram.
Both Deckard and Joe are looking for love and happiness, but the main character never found it and lost it all in the end. So lonely and depressed people can definitely relate because the main protagonist of the film is exactly that.
Instead of killing Deckard, K saves him from Luv and reunites him with his daughter, getting mortally wounded in the process. Whether this action is enough to make K human or give him a soul is entirely up to the viewer.
Her name is Joi and she is an illusion in every sense, right down to her holographic countenance made up of ones and zeroes. But in the world of Blade Runner 2049, nobody is perfect, and she is both the fantasy and reality of Ridley Scott's haunted future made flesh. Digitally speaking, of course.
K started the movie believing he was made, with implanted memories. He then thought he was born, and that the memories were real. In fact, as revealed by the end of the movie, he was made and the memories were implants – but they were real, implanted memories from the actual daughter of Deckard and Rachael.
Later at K's apartment, he informed Joi of his conclusion that his memory was indeed real. This overjoyed her, as she always believed him to be special, insisting that he now be called "Joe." Unsure, K sought further information and Joi suggested finding the one responsible for creating memories for replicants.
Replicants' eyes reflect with a glowing red when the light hits them right. The replicant-detecting apparatus of a blade runner—an android-hunting cop—focuses on a subject's eye, magnifying it to gauge empathic response; when a replicant kills, it's often by violence to the eyes.
In Blade Runner 2049, the male principle is embodied by “K” (Ryan Gosling). K is a blade runner—a professional operative whose job is to hunt down and kill the manufactured humans called replicants. K is a replicant himself, and he knows it.

Luv kills Joshi and tracks K to Las Vegas. She kidnaps Deckard, destroys Joi, and leaves K to die.
The big twist in the final act of the movie is that K isn't the son of Deckard and Rachael at all, but just another cog in the machine that might lead to the child's discovery.
So when I rewatched the scene where Giant pink Joi goes up to K telling him, "What a day" and the iconic, "You look lonely. I can fix that." She also says "You look like a good Joe." It makes me wonder what made her say that specifically to him.
