Hating Sarah makes sense since he thought she was the one who called the cops on him when it was actually Tiffany but Mike Norris is the direct cause of Chucky dying. After Chucky kills most of Sarah's family in Curse, Chucky goes after Andy instead of Mike Norris.
The 'Child's Play'/Chucky films are very variable, with the first film being by far the best. None of the sequels are as good, but 'Child's Play 2' is one of the better and more watchable ones.
