This film can get a bit bloody, but not incredibly bad. A man's head is shredded by a lawn mower of sorts. You see some sort of chunky blood splat onto his face and a chunk of his head shoot out then end.

Chucky's desire to swap souls with someone other than Andy is a welcome change, but his new target, young Tyler, is one dimensional and uninteresting. He's unable to carry his scenes like Alex Vincent, who played child Andy in the first two films.

This movie includes some violence and accidental harm. For example: During the opening play sequence, a bad Mr Potato Head who is stealing money from a train is whipped and stepped on by Woody. Another Potato Head pushes Woody off the train.
The ONLY scene that really scared her was when Chucky electrocutes the doctor, because there's blood coming out of his eyes, that visual was disturbing for her. Other than that though, the violence was very fake and sometimes silly.

The writers decided not only to include a nude woman, but also doll nudity (Tiffany reveals herself to Chucky). Also, Jennifer Tilly wears a cleavage-revealing outfit the entire movie. Not only would I not recommend this movie for children or families, I would not recommend this film to anyone who is a movie fanatic.
The film is filled with over-the-top violence and gore and is permeated with sexual innuendo. Characters curse, runaway from home, dress scantily, practice voodoo, have sex, and kill one another. Additionally, one character is coded as gay in a very stereotypical way.
While Annabelle's inhuman qualities are what make her creepy, Chucky's cruel and sadistic personality scores him a win in round three. When it comes to what makes Chucky terrifying, there are several aspects to choose from. Whenever he talks or moves, the unnatural, uncanny valley effect is unnerving.
But the thing is, Stranger Things is still rated TV-14 and still has its share of language, blood, and horror-esque moments. No matter how many kids are allowed to watch it, it's never going to be called a kid's show.
