Matthew Michael "Matt" Murdock, also known as Daredevil, is a fictional character and superhero from Marvel Comics, appearing as the titular character of his comics, and a major character in The Avengers and The Defenders comics.
He built a fortress headquarters in Hell's Kitchen called Shadowland, which served both as a temple for the Hand and a prison for criminals captured under Daredevil's leadership. But Matt became possessed and corrupted by the Beast, a demon worshiped by the Hand for centuries.
In his debut story arc in The Amazing Spider-Man #50–52, the Kingpin is portrayed purely as a crime lord, albeit one who tends to be unusually hands-on in his criminal dealings.
Daredevil's Catholicism became a more prominent part of his character in the 1970s. Though Daredevil hadn't been killing people consistently before this, his faith helped explain why he was so against the use of lethal force.
Over the years, Daredevil committed himself to never killing his enemies, though there have been a few close-calls or ambiguous incidents over the years. However, that all changed in DAREDEVIL (2019) #1.
While Ben Affleck fits the role and the story is sporadically interesting, Daredevil is ultimately a dull, brooding origin story that fails to bring anything new to the genre.
Although Spider-Man manages to interfere in the Hulk's rampage, Kingpin's subtle attack is still largely effective and proves just how dangerous anyone can be in the Marvel Universe. The Hulk is a being of limitless strength, and even at his weakest, he could crush Kingpin with one hand.
The main character, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), became blind after an incident involving a chemical spill when he was a child. The accident gave him superhuman senses and the ability to navigate the world in a different way.
Blaming Spider-Man for taking his family from him once again, Kingpin brutally beats Miles down, sadistically remarking that he's going to make sure he never sees his own family ever again.
He started off as more or less a daredevil acrobat, with credible boxing skills. Later on Frank Miller would claim that “Daredevil” was more or less sort of his way of expressing the darker aspects. The “-devil” added on due to his Catholic faith. “-Devil” was also the nickname of his father as a boxer.
The rivalry between Daredevil and the Punisher is one of the greatest in the Marvel Universe. Matt Murdock and Frank Castle have a love/hate relationship that often ends in the two heroes finally seeing eye-to-eye, usually after a violent (and oftentimes bloody) confrontation.
Just as Daredevil's other senses are stronger, they are also sensitive; his main weakness is his vulnerability to powerful sounds or odors that can temporarily weaken his radar sense. This weakness is often used to immobilize Daredevil.
In her first appearances, Karen is the beautiful secretary for the law firm of Daredevil's alter ego Matt Murdock, and the mutual love interest of both Murdock and his partner Foggy Nelson.
Kingpin - A ruthless crime lord and the archenemy of Daredevil, indeed uncontested as Daredevil's greatest enemy. The Kingpin also serves as an enemy for the Punisher and Spider-Man. Kirigi - A ninja assassin after being resurrected by the Hand.
Leader of The Chaste, a warrior order, Stick trains a generation of heroes and fights alongside them to seek destruction of The Hand. While he's mainly known as the man who trained Daredevil, Stick is a character who has his own rich history of fighting evil.
However, he doesn't always need her help to get back in fighting shape. Matt Murdock has developed a mastery over his body, which has allowed him to perform extraordinary acts. And because of this, he's also capable of forcing his body to heal faster.
Summary. Spider-Man proves his superior strength and invincibility by surviving a blast from a Hulk-fighting cannon. Spider-Man's speed and agility give him an advantage over the Hulk, who is not known for being agile. Spider-Man's unknown limits of strength make him a potentially formidable opponent for the Hulk.
Kingpin has power in the form of money and resources. But unless he pays Deadpool off, he might not be able to counter Wade Wilson in combat for long. He has physical strength and has battled the likes of Elektra in the comics, but Deadpool can just keep going.
Spidey had been shot, beaten up, and blown up by a giant exploding truck. In later issues of Ultimate Spider-Man however, it's revealed that Peter Parker actually survived all of these horrible events. Apparently the Oz Formula flowing through his veins had made Peter essentially immortal.
Summary. Daredevil's radar sense doesn't work well in large-scale battles, as he finds himself in with the Avengers in Daredevil #5, making him question his place in the team. Chaotic environments heavily interfere with Daredevil's radar sense, making it difficult for him to use his powers effectively.
There is an extremely violent prison fight scene, although you'll know it's coming because the episode it's in is rated 18. To summarise, I think It's a great series with some minor flaws (also, I only gave it a 15 because it seemed liked a good in between point, it's really up to how mature you think your child is).
The series was intended to be darker than other Marvel projects, intentionally avoiding crossovers with the wider MCU and focusing on a crime fiction style that was inspired by 1970s films. Design inspiration was taken from the Hell's Kitchen setting of the comics, with filming taking place in New York City.
