This was in stark contrast to director Ridley Scott, who framed the movie around the notion Deckard was a replicant, even though the character himself wasn't aware of it. Scott played out coy about this in interviews but finally confirmed the truth during the 2000 documentary On the Edge of Blade Runner.
Plot. In 2049, 30 years after the events of Blade Runner, bioengineered humans known as replicants are slaves. K (short for serial number, KD6-3.7), a Nexus-9 replicant, works for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a "blade runner", an officer who hunts and "retires" (kills) rogue replicants.
Stelline was born on June 10, 2021, the daughter of former Blade Runner Rick Deckard and Rachael, a Nexus-7 replicant, making her the first replicant-born child.

Why did Deckard's eyes glow?
Deckard's eyes glow briefly in one scene, which was used in the film to subtly suggest his replicant identity. However, Ford denies this was an intentional effect and he may have caught some of the light intended to fall on Sean Young's eyes.

Tweets and blogs cited the fact that female characters were treated as sex objects, and that the narrative was almost entirely driven by men, including Ryan Gosling's replicant-hunter K and his predecessor Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford). Outrage quickly spread, including from those who had not yet seen the film.

During the final fight with K, after subduing him, she smugly kissed him and retorted "I am the best one!", as if trying to prove her superiority over not just K, but all other replicants, further hinting at her deep-seated insecurities that she kept well-hidden.
Deckard's age is never revealed in any of the dialogue. In the source novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, he was assumed to be middle-aged (late 30's to early 40's) but Philip K.
Nexus-6 replicants had a built-in four-year lifespan, created as a safety mechanism to prevent possible emotional development. Due to their short lifespans, replicants had no framework within which to deal with their emotions.
She weeps when they suffer and is heartbroken when they die, but is incapable of acting to stop either. Like so many people who feel helpless in today's society, Luv is a prisoner to her programming. Luv's first very-human tears come as she witnesses a murder.
Doctor Ana Stelline (Carla Juri) designs memories for the Nexus-9 Replicants but is forced to live in a bubble because of her condition. She's in no condition to lead any sort of revolution or lead her “people.” In fact, she's a key point in the machinery that allows them to be produced and enslaved.
The horse, with the inscription "6.10. 21", establishes the connection between the dead female replicant who gave birth and died on 6.10. 21, and K himself, implying that the memories were not in fact "implanted" but are rather genuine after all.
The corporation also brought digital technology back to the planet's citizens with the introduction of the Wallace Datalink Network. Replicant prohibition was lifted in 2036 with the introduction of the Nexus-9. Despite the pressure to leave Earth, many humans continued to live on the overcrowded planet as of 2049.
Are there any inappropriate scenes in Blade Runner?
In one scene, Rachael's left nipple is seen through her transparent bra. (This is only in the Workprint version.) There are some minor sexual themes, brief nudity is included in all versions. Two girls are shown dancing in underwear, but just for a few seconds.
Rachael died giving birth to Ana, sacrificing herself so that her child could live. The 'Rachael' in Blade Runner 2049 is a replicant, created by Wallace to seduce Deckard into spilling any information he has on his child, or the accomplices that assisted him in hiding her.
The amazing thing about the Deckard as replicant debate is that in 2007, Ridley Scott basically told world: "Yeah, he's a replicant." You would think the director making a statement like that would end things. But it didn't. In fact, Harrison Ford is on the record saying Deckard is human.
Deckard then tests himself, confirming that he is human but has a sense of empathy for certain androids. Deckard is now able to buy his wife Iran an authentic Nubian goat with his commission.
After Rachael left Los Angeles with Deckard, the two conceived a daughter. Rachael died during the cesarean section delivery on June 10, 2021, conducted by Sapper Morton. The child was left in the care of a replicant freedom group.
