Frozen 2 is a completely kid-friendly movie, as the first film was, but just like with Frozen, there are a few small moments during its runtime that parents should be aware of before their young kids sit down to watch it.
In addition to the violent scenes mentioned above, Frozen 2 has some scenes that could scare or disturb children under five years. For example: There are creepy eyes and shadows on the wall of a cave that Olaf passes through. The images might frighten some young viewers.
FROZEN is recommended for a general audience aged 6+. Children under 4 years old will not be admitted into the auditorium. Every member of the audience must be able to sit unaided in their own seat.
Frozen II is rated PG by the MPAA for action/peril and some thematic elements. Violence: A battle is briefly shown and men fight with swords and shields. No injuries are seen.

Is Frozen 2 okay for toddlers?
Some parts may be difficult for younger or sensitive kids, although my kid was fine. For several minutes of the movie, two main characters are thought to be dead and we see the intense grief of a remaining character. If this upsets your kids but they still want to watch, you may tell them the ending will be happy.
Your kids should be fine, but you might want to sit close to your toddler in case they get a little bit anxious so you can assure them that everything is going to be OK!
(Note: Much of Frozen 2 appears to be a reaction to the reaction the first film received for not including many people of color and for “whitewashing.” The problem with how Frozen 2 handled this is that they really couldn't up and change the race of the lead characters, so instead they just had them retroactively ...
The film covers deep and heavy topics unknown to Disney princess films. The first Frozen broke the Disney formula by sharing “true love” doesn't need to be romantic. The second film addresses loss, grief, depression, and how to find hope and personal growth through life's uncertainties.
Disney on Ice is a magical show for young kids and adults of all ages to enjoy. It's truly a show for the entire family! Both of my daughters (at almost 2 and 4) enjoyed the show and seeing their favorite characters.

At birth, your baby's eyes have the visual acuity of 20/400, but their rapidly developing vision will reach the adult level of 20/20 by the time they are 3-5 years old. That rapid growth is why their first months are so important.
If you have a package and purchase tickets and the child is 2 but turns 3 in your trip you'll be fine. If you have a room booked, but no tickets, and you go to the park on a day when the child has turned 3, even though hwne you arrived they were 2, you'll be buying a ticket for a 3yo.
She'll probably appreciate short children's films starting around age 2 1/2 or 3. A few things to keep in mind: Movies can be great family-friendly entertainment, making your little one laugh at silly jokes and prompting her to sing along to catchy songs.
The original Frozen may seem like a children's movie, but this movie is the opposite of that. It covers more mature themes that are able to appeal to wider groups of people. Not only is the story more complex, but both the animation and soundtrack add to the story, making it more powerful than the original.
Although Elsa's disability is encoded as a magical ice power, the language the film uses to talk about her condition maps on to the experiences of people with physical, mental, and intellectual disabilities in recognizable ways.
But she also has hidden disabilities — obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder. So Elsa, the queen whose hidden condition is dramatically revealed, feels like an ally. "Elsa says, 'I don't care what they're going to say,' and I love that line," Liebowitz says.
Elsa is never properly identified as asexual or aromantic, something that would help immensely to increase visibility and awareness. Considering Disney's record with LGBT characters (remember the underwhelming 'gay moment' in Beauty and the Beast?)
Frozen contains some scenes of action violence and peril, some accidental injury, implied death and occasional threats of violence. For example: As a young girl, Anna is accidentally hit in the head by a bolt of her sister's magic. This leaves her unconscious with a white streak in her hair where she was hit.
The elegant, noble Elsa wants to be free and live a normal life, and Anna is dreamy, cheerful and enthusiastic; both acted to defend their kingdom from danger. Frozen II has been interpreted as a critique of colonialism and as advocating reparation.
Children respond to stories that employ magical realism, so Elsa—as a superhero with what one of our daughters (Maryam's) and her friends call “ice powers” (the ability to create a whole castle of snow and ice using only her fingers)—has special appeal.
Frozen II occurred after a 3-year time jump, with Elsa now 24 and Anna 21. The Frozen movies seem to be one of the few animated Disney franchises to consider 21 an ideal age to rule.
Though many have cited Frozen 2's lack of a villain as one of its biggest weaknesses, Runeard could arguably be considered the villain of Frozen 2. Runeard might even be a stronger villain than Hans, who was also a twist villain, but Hans was revealed as a villain even later in Frozen than Runeard was in Frozen 2.
