Grievous, born Qymaen jai Sheelal, was the cyborg Supreme Commander of the Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems for most of the Clone Wars. Grievous was originally a Kaleesh from the planet Kalee, where he lived his early life.
Dooku convinced the mortally wounded Grievous that the Jedi responsible for his homeworld's plight were the ones who caused the crash. Grievous accepted Dooku's offer to reconstruct him with a cyborg body and became the Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies to seek revenge against the Jedi.
Grievous chose to become a cyborg, receiving his enhancements over time, after the Sith gave him an unquestionable chance. They had been looking to test technologically advanced beings, and Grievous agreed to take on the tests.
Grievous utterly hates the Jedi and their evil Order for committing genocide on his people when he was a warlord. He exploited the Jedi's "compassion" for the clone troopers under their command, exemplified during his attack on the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center.
General Grievous Wasn't a Sith - But He Learned Certain Skills From Them. General Grievous never became a Sith in the Star Wars Universe. But his time with them made him one of the scariest enemies in the franchise.
There is also an in-universe reason that Grievous and Anakin never met each other. Anakin was instrumental in Darth Sidious' plan to overthrow the Republic and the Jedi. He needed Anakin for his machinations, but he also needed General Grievous to keeping razing the galaxy. He couldn't afford to lose either of them.
His cybernetics presumably provide him with the right precision, meaning he can use any color he wishes without difficulty. And since the character's hatred for the Jedi is pronounced, it only makes sense that his “trophy” lightsabers would be exclusively green and blue: he doesn't hunt Dooku or his allies.
While the Jedi would remain his sworn enemy, Grievous was a threat to Force users outside their order as well. In fact, perhaps his greatest kill was not a Jedi at all, but a dark side adherent of such immense power that even Emperor Palpatine feared her as his equal.
Although he couldn't apprehend the kidnapper, Mace used the Force to crush Grievous' chest cavity. This injury resulted in the asthmatic cough that would remain with him until his death.
Ok so let's get into it Mace Windu survives, The fall but he has lost his weapon and is servilely wounded in now hostile territory. This is why I believe he would go into hiding for some time thoughout the early years of The Galactic Empire.
Always a canny foe, Ventress baited Anakin by threatening to kill Padme Amidala, before striking him across the face. The scar became another symbol of Anakin's journey to the dark side when he punishes Ventress by binding her in cables and flinging her from the top of a skyscraper.
General Grievous had an intense hatred for the Jedi, who had sided with the brutal and oppressive Huks during the Huk War, who enslaved his people, the Kaleesh. Whenever he got the chance, Grievous would hunt down and kill Jedi, taking their lightsabers as war trophies.
According to Imperial Estimates in Star Wars Inside #87, only about 100 of the Jedi survived Order 66. Most were subsequently hunted down and killed in the years following the Great Jedi Purge.

In the construction of a Sith lightsaber, individuals partook in a process known as bleeding. By ways of the Force, they would pour negative emotions, such as rage, hate, fear, and pain into kyber crystals. The process would result in the crystals gaining a distinctive crimson or red hue.
The Legends-era Grievous had every right to hate the Jedi for their role in the Huk War, but the General ultimately became the very monster he'd seen the Jedi as, just as the Jedi Order eventually evolved into the heroes they were always meant to be.

Count Dooku was certainly aware of his master's identity and while it isn't clear if Grevious was aware or not, in the original 2003 series which came out before the Revenge of the Sith it made it clear that Grevious was unaware of Palpatine's identity to the point that Grevious threatened his life.
Summary. Jar Jar Binks's clumsiness may not be genuine, but rather an act to disguise his true nature as a Sith Lord infiltrating the Republic. Palpatine carefully orchestrated events to manipulate the galaxy, and Jar Jar's involvement suggests he may have been the eyes and ears on Naboo.
History. A dark side warrior with a mysterious past, Kylo Ren was neither Jedi nor Sith, but a product of both sides' teachings. Once an apprentice of Luke Skywalker's, he killed his fellow students and drove Skywalker into exile, becoming a First Order warlord and servant of Supreme Leader Snoke.
As a Sith, Praven was very strong in the dark side of the Force, though he felt stronger with the light side as a Jedi. He wielded a single red-bladed lightsaber as both a Sith and a Jedi, and he was skilled in the use of a wide variety of Force powers, including Force lightning, Force blasts, and Force paralysis.
