Back in his Yellowjacket identity, Hank returned to the Avengers, only to be captured by Ultron, who messed with Hank's head and forced him back into his Ant-Man role, but with no memory of the past several years.
He returned several issues later as the original iteration of Ant-Man, a superhero with the power to shrink to the size of an ant. He later assumed other superhero identities, including the size-changing Giant-Man and Goliath; the insect-themed Yellowjacket; and briefly, the Wasp.
Pym then changed directions and had founded Pym Technologies while also retiring as the Ant-Man, vowing never to use his invention again, turning his back on S.H.I.E.L.D. as he had found that Howard Stark and Mitchell Carson had tried to recreate his original designs.
Due to the instability of his Yellowjacket Suit, Cross' head was enlarged to a massive size and melding with his torso. Eventually, Kang the Conqueror found the battered Cross and decided to make him into a living weapon. Cross undergoes the change into M.O.D.O.K.

Why did Hank Pym become a yellow jacket?
Suffering from a temporary split personality due to another experiment gone wrong, Hank became Yellowjacket, a persona that convinced himself that he killed Hank and took his place. His Yellowjacket self was equally attracted to Janet and proposed, something Hank never had the guts to do.
When first recruiting Scott Lang to become the new Ant-Man, Hank revealed that he couldn't wear the suit anymore, citing that the frequent use of Pym Particles had taken a toll on him.
Kang the Conqueror was exiled to the MCU Quantum Realm by his own variants in the Council of Kangs due to his attempts to eradicate them and become the sole Kang in the multiverse.
Cross later returns in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), having become M.O.D.O.K. (Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing) due to his uncontrolled shrinking and aligned himself with Kang the Conqueror, who placed him in special armor.
AIM is a think tank that is known for selling weapons to supervillains. While at AIM, he goes under a mutagenic mutation in hopes of becoming more intelligent. This enlarges his head while keeping his arms and legs the same size, forcing him to use a hoverchair to get around.
Since Scott had used Hank's complex technology, the Pym particles, Hank and Hope were held responsible for Scott's actions and became fugitives on the run. Both were angry at his betrayal, and Hope was particularly angry that Scott didn't ask her to help, stating that he wouldn't have gotten caught if she was there.
Through out the entire Ant-Man movie trilogy Hank and Scott have had a father-son relationship, he's mentored him out of a bad spot in life, and taught him he can become a new man entirely for the people he loves.
Vincent Harley/Yellowjacket is based on an early Charlton Comics hero of the same name, but was not one of the characters that DC bought from Charlton in 1983. In 2015, however, the original Yellowjacket fell into the public domain and became available for use by anyone.
There are touches added in—like Cassie calling Hank "Grandpa"—that help to illustrate how close this family has grown in the time since we last met them.
Created by Hank Pym by basing the robot on his own brain patterns, the robot (dubbed "Ultron") gradually developed its own intelligence and rebelled, and almost immediately develops an Oedipus complex, whereby it feels irrational hatred for Pym, and demonstrates an interest in Janet van Dyne.
What happened to Yellowjacket at the end of Ant-Man?
For those who need a refresher, Stoll originally played Cross in 2015's Ant-Man, taking on the villainous persona of Yellowjacket. Cross didn't die in that movie – technically – because his regulator malfunctioned and he was infinitely shrunk to a subatomic level.
After a fierce fight with Ant-Man, Yellowjacket prepares to kill both Paxton and Cassie, but Ant-Man defeats him by shrinking to subatomic size and sabotaging the wiring in the Yellowjacket suit, causing Yellowjacket to shrink uncontrollably into oblivion.
Prior to his appearance in Quantumania, though, Majors made his MCU debut in the Season 1 finale of Loki, playing one (of many) variants of his villain Kang the Conqueror named He Who Remains.
Kang isn't physically stronger than Thanos, and if the two were to square up in a one-vs-one fight then the Titan would arguably win. However, Kang's knowledge of the multiverse means that would quite literally be several steps ahead of Thanos at all times. As a result, Kang wins this battle.
He also ensures that some of the technology Kang will need gets invented (Tony's time travel machine). As he gamed this particular fight over and over, maybe more than 15 million times, He Who Remains chose this specific set of events. He caused Heimdall, Loki, Gamora, Black Widow, and Iron Man to die.
Though the Ant-Man suit doesn't have a built-in flying mechanism, Scott is able to communicate with ants using a device in the helmet that sends pheromones into the ants' olfactory nerve centers. This gives him a friendly “command” over ants, which allows him to ride on them while they fly for faster travel.
Hope van Dyne first appeared in Ant-Man (2015) and is introduced as the daughter of ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, and senior board member of her father's company Pym Technologies.
