Is Oogway stronger than Po?
Though Oogway invented kung fu and is often considered the greatest master, the franchise's titular character, Po Ping the Dragon Warrior, proves that he has surpassed even Oogway by the end of Kung Fu Panda 3. Po defeats Kai, who defeated Oogway, proving that he is the best kung fu master to have ever lived.
Kai spent the next 500 years in the Spirit Realm harnessing the chi from every dead kung fu master in the Spirit Realm and becoming more and more fury-driven and hateful. He eventually managed to defeat Oogway and returned to the mortal realm only to be defeated for good by Oogway's true successor Po.
Highly venerated for his wisdom, knowledge, and experience, Oogway was considered by many to be a sage. He was greatly respected by Shifu, the Furious Five, Po, the entire Valley of Peace, and all of China.

The most notable trait about Oogway is that he was very relaxed in serious situations, most likely due to his ability to foresee the future and his strong faith in others.
