Ororo Munroe, AKA Storm, is one of the most famous and powerful mutants on the planet. A stalwart member of the X-Men with the ability to control the elements, Storm has also been worshipped as a goddess, Queen of Wakanda, and as a member of both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.
Storm was also a part of one of the most famous romantic relationships in comicbook history. Having married childhood sweetheart and fellow superhero Black Panther, the ruler of the fictional African nation of Wakanda, Ororo was made queen consort through marriage.
The Marvel Universe is full of certified power couples, but perhaps only Ororo "Storm" Munroe and Wakanda's former king T'Challa represent the peak of power for both mutants and humans. Their love story was a fairytale, and their split, the very definition of tragedy.

Shuri is the daughter of King T'Chaka and Queen Ramonda, making her the half-sister of T'Challa, the Black Panther. Possessing a formidable mind and a warrior's body, Shuri has served her homeland of Wakanda as Queen, Black Panther, and now as the Aja-Adanna.
She probably doesn't want to rule the country due to her other duties as Wakanda's greatest hero. She also likely never wanted to be the leader of a nation and instead put her focus on her scientific research. She doesn't seem to mind letting M'Baku take that position instead.
Storm is going to win just about any fight she gets into by virtue of her elemental control of the weather, but, in pure hand-to-hand combat, Wonder Woman wins every time. She possesses god-like strength, enough to give Superman a headache.
Storm was revered as a goddess because of her mutation before she decided to join Charles Xavier's X-Men, but even though some people viewed her as a god, the fact remains that she wasn't one.
Storm never married Forge, though they came close. She did marry Black Panther, bringing together major facets of the Marvel Universe in the process. Fans discovered she and T'Challa had actually known each other in their youth and been lovers.
One thing a lot of people forget it that Storm is half- African-American (Black American) through her father and was raised in Harlem as a young child before coming an orphan in Egypt.
Summary. Thor and Storm have similar powers, but different ways of controlling them. Thor commands thunder and lightning as a king, while Storm treats the weather as an equal. Thor asserts dominance over lightning, while Storm works in unison with the weather instead of forcing it to her will.
They eventually find love with each other, but it's later revealed that Forge built the very weapon that took Storm's powers, and she leaves again to wander on her own. Lifedeath II was a continuation of that comic, released in 1985. Storm returns to Africa, where she learns to accept the loss of her powers.
