Rot Lop Fan is a silicon-based life form originally from the Obsidian Deeps. Completely blind to the visible spectrum, he makes up for his lack of vision with his extraordinary hearing, making him a valuable member of the Green Lantern Corps to perceive danger.

Who is the most evil lantern?
The Black Lantern Corps is the most dangerous among the Lantern Corps. Nekron, the emotional entity of loss and death, forged the Black Lanterns from the endless sea of the dead. Nekron then waged war on the universe, targeting the different Lantern Corps first and focusing on Earth.
Despite the existence of the Black superheroes previously mentioned, there was no one headlining a book, even for an issue. John Stewart did that, making his debut historic as Green Lantern.
