I would not let a kid under 18 watch this. Violence is one thing but this feature is shock full of twisted behavior with a good bit of aggressive sexual innuendo thrown in the mix. Women sexualized, mistreated. Good guys vs bad guys is a given but this film takes it to another level.

Because of the violence and language I would say this is great for children 13 or older. This is definitely a dark comedy so if you're not into that don't watch it. Honestly though, I think some people really like this movie and some don't so you just have to find out for yourself if you think it's good or not.

First off let me start by saying, yes this is a very dark, violent, and intense movie and I would NOT recommend it for a child. However when it comes to a teen/preteen I think it depends on the teen/preteen, have you taught them right from wrong and do they know the difference between real life and fiction?

James Gunn does it again, made a grand slapping movie. My only problem with the movie is some jokes being unfunny, but other than that it's just amazing, probably one of my favorite DC movies next to Joker. I also felt like the bond between the squad was so forced and way too rushed. The action sequences could have been way better instead they were so messy. I'm a big batman fan and I can say that this is a must see even if you don't really like Batman, still see it. So in the end, I'd recommend this film for anyone 12 and over. It does have some violence and very mature themes but if your child knows that it's fake and not real then they'll be fine.
