Before he can continue, Prowler answers a call from Fisk before he takes his mask off, revealing himself to be Aaron, which shocks Miles to learn that Aaron was a supervillain, that his father was right about him, and that his own uncle was the assassin attempting to kill him.
Aaron became a criminal during his teenage years, even telling Miles in a recording that he got his first mugging a criminal's boss for his money. Mindy McPherson was the girlfriend of Hobie Brown, a luckless inventor who worked as a window cleaner. She left him because of his lack of belief in himself, which resulted in him turning into the Super-Villain the Prowler. After a run-in with Spider-Man, Hobie reformed and Mindy got back together with him.
Miles was able to save his father, but during the conflict, police accidentally shot his mother, Rio. As she died, Miles revealed to his mother that he was in fact Spider-Man. She told him she was proud of him, but begged him never to tell his father. Racked with guilt, Miles gave up the mantle soon after.

As the Prowler, he is a ruthless, efficient killer. It should also be noted that Prowler had no issues murdering children, assuring his boss that he would find the new Spider-Man who saw them and kill him, expressing no reluctance in pursuing him.

It sends people back to their own dimension by reading their DNA. Except, Miles' DNA no longer identifies him as being from Earth-1610. The spider that bit him rewrote his genetic code with its own. That caused the machine to think Miles comes from Earth-42, the spider's dimension.
Gwen would also reunite with Peter B. Parker and Peni Parker, however they were all prohibited from ever reaching out to Miles as they were told he was an "anomaly" and that he was dangerous to the stability of the multiverse.
