Wolverine knows the dangers of fighting Magneto better than anyone. With a skeleton laced with adamantium, facing Magneto could easily mean that Wolverine can lose the very metal that has been keeping his claws sharp and his body strong through the years.
Without hesitating, Wolverine pulls out a plastic gun that's been loaded with high-density polymer bullets, and threatens to shoot Magneto right then and there.
Weaknesses. Muramasa Blade: Wolverine's only specific vulnerability known to date. Created by having his soul infused into the katana, the efficiency of his mutant healing factor is decreased dramatically if he sustains injury from the Muramasa Blade.
After Wolverine established himself as a central member of the X-Men, he faced one of his most harrowing defeats when Magneto used his Omega-level mutant powers to rip all of the adamantium out of his body.
In forest and other area where there is far less metal, Logan stands a chance of getting in close and getting some hits in. But as I said before, Magneto can wield the entire electromagnetic spectrum. He can blast Wolverine and keep him at bay, maybe even incinerate him if he goes all out.
However, for some reason, Wolverine has never been able to defeat Juggernaut on his own. That doesn't mean he wouldn't try. Wolverine even tried to fight Juggernaut when all he had was bone claws. However, Wolverine has never been able to beat this unstoppable foe.
Magneto may not be impervious to harm like Wolverine, but he has an obvious advantage over him; Magneto can control and manipulate all metals even if there's only a small trace of them. On many occasions, in both the comics and the films, Magneto has used his powers to beat Wolverine.
Deadpool is easily one of the most powerful characters Marvel has. The fast-talking gunman seems almost fearless on the battlefield, but in reality, there's a lot that scares the Merc with the Mouth. There are two things though, that scare him above all: cows and clowns are a Deadpool weakness.
Adamantium poisoning caused Wolverine's healing power to fail in Logan, leading to his tragic demise. The theme of government experimentation and toxic substances adds weight to Wolverine's struggles in the film.
It wouldn't matter because Logan would keep getting up and using those claws to slice and dice through Thanos and his armor. Thanos wouldn't be easy to destroy, even without the Gauntlet, but he wouldn't be able to regain his strength.
Wolverine has defeated magneto on several occasions and once cut his head off. Wolverine can gain an advantage because he is so fast and magneto never takes him out first.
His adamantium claws are one of the few weapons in the Marvel Universe that can consistently pierce Hulk's skin and Wolverine has no problem going for Hulk's head. In fact, if it came down to it, Wolverine could cut Hulk's head off, ending the Hulk once and for all.
3 Magneto. Much like other mutants who are not physically strong but are capable of great physical feats, the Omega-level Master of Magnetism could defeat the Juggernaut in any number of ways.
Namor was able to run through the entire Brotherhood, including Magneto. Namor's strength and durability allowed him to outlast Magneto's attacks and take him down, before leaving so he could figure out new ways to attack the surface world.
Way back in the '90s when Magneto was still a major supervillain, the Master of Magnetism horrifically ripped Wolverine's adamantium metal off his skeleton and through his skin, and it looks like karma is finally coming around for Erik in X-Men Red.
This is the big one. Ethyl chloride is essentially Spider-Man's Kryptonite and it renders anyone's spider-powers null and void. This makes ethyl chloride extremely powerful against Spider-Man, but this chemical cocktail doesn't have nearly the same reputation as Superman's Kryptonite.
A mercenary for hire, he played an important role in the series Deadpool; T-Ray served to remind Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, what a failure he was. He is Deadpool's archenemy for many issues and almost everything that happened to Deadpool was a part of an elaborate plan orchestrated by him.
Funny enough, Domino isn't the only one with a fear of a particular animal, as Deadpool tells her he's scared of cows while gaining the information from her.
Ultimately, Cyclops optic blasts are enough to strip Wolverine of his skin and flesh, all the way to his adamantium bones, giving Apocalypse what he needs to power his portal machine. Seeing Apocalypse mind-control Cyclops to take down Wolverine makes for quite a harrowing moment.
On the other hand, Logan tends to rely on his intuition and bestial senses to describe the potential outcome of a battle. Therefore, taking a reckless step against Batman would end him before he could even realize it, while the latter would output no more than a fraction of his brain power to take Wolverine down.
This battle was particularly one-sided, yet Cap still came out on top, giving Logan one of the worst beatings of his life. Even though Captain America and Wolverine have had some brutal fights over the years, circumstances ultimately dictate their clashes, usually leading to an alliance rather than a clear victor.
The only reason Wolverine can go up against the Hulk is that Hulk cannot break the coating on Logan's bones. Okay, so, no, the Hulk can't break it or bend it.
The adamantium covering Wolverine's bone claws is one of the strongest metals in the entire Marvel universe, but as tough and unbreakable as it may be, the comics themselves prove they're no match for Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
So can wolverine's claws actually damage the God of Thunder? Yes. But he was basically able to brush it off and seemed to be able to stop the fight at will. So while Logan may be able to pierce a god's skin, tis but a scratch.
