“Chainsaw Man” is undoubtedly worth watching, especially if you are looking for something new that is not too much of a commitment. With incredible animation, accurate soundtracks, and amazing voice acting, the series could easily be considered one of the best anime of 2022.
Like most anime, its pros and cons work to balance each other out, but this is all the more obvious in a series like Chainsaw Man, where numerous viewers proclaim the show's superiority yet said show ends up being, if not necessarily bad, then certainly decidedly overrated.
If you're looking for something new to watch and want to step outside of standard live-action fare, "Chainsaw Man" is truly worth your time. And hey, with only 12 episodes in the first season, it's not too much of a commitment if it truly turns out that anime isn't your jam. Just don't tell Pochita.

Fujimoto wrote the story in a way that, while action-packed, makes sure not to sacrifice emotional weight to scenes. Fujimoto makes sure to never break from the complete sincerity of his story and at a certain point, you realize Chainsaw Man is more about its characters than its action.

Was Chainsaw Man a disappointment?
Users on Reddit have aired their disappointment with the Chainsaw Man anime, with many saying that the show is average at best. Some could not make it past the second episode of the show, with people saying the plot is too predictable and has been overdone.
Pochita's true Devil form is of a large, humanoid Devil with four arms and a chainsaw protruding from each, with another chainsaw coming from the front of his head, similar to Denji's hybrid form. It is “sus”, has some sex intentions, but it is good. I recommend it for mature audiences and disagree with the other rating, especially for further in the series where Denji grabs Power's “melons”. They even start talking about sex, but it is a good series.
I would recommend this for anyone of ages 13+ (12 if mature enough). If your kid wants to watch this, but you aren't sure about it, I recommend you watch it together and have discussions about the main character's sex intentions and what and why the characters are saying or doing certain things.

Chainsaw man is one of my favourite mangas. I think it's better than Death Note, because, after L dies it's boring until the last volume. In chainsaw man the villains never repeat, and, if they repeat, it's another person with the same powers.
The Chainsaw Devil is easily the strongest Devil in Chainsaw Man. Other Devils have no choice but to fear and respect it. When Denji turns into Chainsaw Man, he can manifest multiple saws from his body depending on how much blood he has.
It flopped in the sense of not getting those JJK and Demon Slayer numbers like it should have and was predicted too, had they just done the anime normally. Those series saw close to, if not exceeding, 50% more sales of the mango.
