The Tree of Souls is a sacred site for the Omatikaya Na'vi clan and their closest connection to Eywa. At the center of a caldera-shaped enclave is a tall willow-like tree with long, bioluminescent tendrils and a large root system that radiates out.
The Tree of Souls (Na'vi name: Vitraya Ramunong), is a giant weeping willow-like tree and the most sacred place of the Omatikaya clan. It is considered to be their closest connection to Eywa on Pandora.
Known to the Na'vi as atokirina, the Woodsprites are seeds from the Tree of Souls. The Na'vi revere the woodsprites and consider them bearers of omens and signs of sanctity. While woodsprites have the appearance of Earth jellyfish, they float in the wind similar to dandelion seeds.
Description. This tree is the marine equivalent of the Tree of Souls. It is connected to the seabed by a dense network of roots containing neural connections, making it one of the most important points in Pandora's neural network. For the Na'vi, this is associated with the strong presence of Eywa.

Why was the tree so important in Avatar?
Similar to the Tree of Voices or the Tree of Souls for the Omatikaya clan, the Spirit Tree is the Metkayina's main access point to Ewya's neural network providing memories, stored “spirits” of their ancestors and even oxygen allowing for prolonged sessions underwater.
The main conflict in the movie involves trees. The antagonistic Resources Development Administration has come to Pandora to destroy the hometree that is important to the Omaticaya clan of Na'vi and claim the rare element Unobtanium from beneath the tree.
Upon analyzing the movie itself, I saw that the seizure itself was the biggest mystery that linked Kiri to Eywa, not Kiri's conception — that theory has been done to death anyway. Kiri can't connect to the tree without dangerous consequences because consciences can enter Eywa, but they cannot come back from Eywa.
When Neytiri was 18 years old in 2154, she met Jake Sully in a Pandoran forest, rescuing him from a pack of viperwolves. Neytiri became his teacher in the ways of the Na'vi. Despite her prior engagement to Tsu'tey, Jake and Neytiri fall in love and consummated their relationship beneath the Tree of Voices.
Neytiri was going to kill Jake until she received a sign from Eywa, the deity who the Na'vi worships. When a group of woodsprites, spirits from the Na'vi's sacred tree, land on Jake, Neytiri considers it a sign and brings him back to her home.
Cameron said, 'Avatar asks us to see that everything is connected, all human beings to each other, and us to the Earth. ' This is a clear statement of religious belief. This is pantheism.
One forest on the North Island of New Zealand, where much of Avatar was filmed, likely influenced Avatar's home tree. While every Na'vi clan in Avatar has a home tree, the movie focuses on that of the Omaticaya clan. The massive, thousand-year-old tree is the generational home of the tribe.
The panopyra, nicknamed “love flower” by Terran scientists, is an unusual life form that has characteristics reminiscent of a jellyfish. It doesn't resemble any taxonomic plant group found on Earth and appears to represent a new line of evolution towards a primitive nervous system.
Essence Seeds are small blue bioluminescent pellets which are found across the Pandoran landscape. In Na'vi mythology, these seeds are said to contain small amounts of Eywa's spirit. More than just good luck charms, the seeds are also believed to bring Eywa's blessing to those who know where to look for them.
The reference implies that a Na'vi's queue may be considered an intimate area of the body. Removing the queue of Pandoran wildlife has been shown to have severe effects. Despite this, It is unknown what would canonically happen if a Na'vi queue was cut off, but it is still implied to be serious.
For one, even if Neytiri is 18 in human years, she's the Na'vi equivalent of a human in their early-to-mid-twenties. This is proven in three different ways: James Cameron has stated that Jake's avatar body is around 17 human years old.
Assuming Jake feels about 22 and Neytiri feels about 18 also helps ease some of the awkwardness of the ten-year age gap they technically have. There's also only a two-year age gap between Worthington and Saldana, as they were 33 and 31, respectively, when Avatar first came out.
She explains that Eywa is so close to her that she can hear Eywa's breath and heartbeat. Compared to her siblings, Kiri adapted much more quickly to the free-diving lifestyle of the Metkayina and experiences little to no trouble staying underwater for long periods of time despite a lack of training.
Augustine's colleague Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) was the father and Grace conceived Kiri before the end of Avatar before somehow giving birth in her Avatar body. However, the more interesting theory is that Kiri is literally the child of Eywa due to some sort of immaculate conception.
Kiri is the inquisitive and intelligent adopted daughter of Jake Sully and Neytiri. Not long after Grace Augustine's death, her dormant avatar was discovered to be pregnant, and Jake and Neytiri adopted the child when she was born.
Unless that theory is true, Grace was impregnated by someone. Kiri's brothers joke that the scientist Norm could be her father. The movie does not reveal much information about the birth of Kiri. It is unclear whether Kiri was conceived before Grace died and her avatar carried her to term.
Shortly after the events of the Avatar, Jake has the Na'vi give his human body a traditional burial and moves the Omaticaya Clan near Hell's Gate to be close to the human allies who were allowed to stay on Pandora. Two weeks later, Jake still visits his former body's burial site, envisioning himself as a human.
Pandora's air is unbreathable due to high levels of carbon dioxide and trace amounts of hydrogen sulfide, posing a threat to humans. Humans use exopacks and avatar bodies to survive and explore Pandora's toxic atmosphere, but these solutions have limitations and challenges.
