Star City is a fictional city that appears in stories published by DC Comics, best known as the traditional home of the superheroes known by, or affiliated with, the shared alias of Green Arrow.
Partly inspired by Robin Hood, Green Arrow is an archer who uses his skills to fight crime in his home cities of Star City and Seattle, as well as alongside his fellow superheroes as a member of the Justice League.
However, in season 3 episode 9, another flight map shown briefly onscreen locates Starling City (changed during the show) in the Great Lakes region. The DC Rebirth Green Arrow series (2016—) specifically states Star City as actually being Seattle, only later being renamed Star City.
