At the age of six, she was seen practicing magic by a group of Muggle boys. When she was unable to show them how to do the same thing again, they violently assaulted her. The attack left Ariana emotionally scarred and unable to control her magic.
Without her knowing, three Muggle boys had been spying on her. After becoming scared of what they witnessed, they confronted her. The boys tried to get Ariana to show them her trick, but when she was unable to because of her young age, they turned violent and started to attack her to stop her from using magic.
No, Ariana was not a squib. A squib is a non-magical person born into a wizarding family. Ariana had magic, but because of the attack on her physically she tried to stop the magic inside her and it caused her to become an obscurial.
Later, Ron's Aunt Muriel tells a different story, that Ariana was really a Squib, and that Kendra, their mother, kept her locked in a cellar to keep anyone from knowing about her. Here, Dumbledore is brought low by association, but Ariana is still lower, degraded by her Squib status and her hopeless situation.
Percival Dumbledore (fl. 1881) was a British wizard, the husband of Kendra Dumbledore and the father of Albus, Aberforth, and Ariana Dumbledore. After attacking three male Muggles who assaulted Ariana, he was sentenced to imprisonment in Azkaban. Percival died there sometime after 1891.
When he and Gellert Grindelwald made plans to subjugate Muggles and take power in the Wizarding world, Albus planned to bring Ariana with them, but Aberforth pointed out that she was in no state to go. This launched a three-way duel between the brothers and Grindelwald, and Ariana was accidentally killed in the fray.
It is impossible for her to have a child. As revealed in “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”, Credence Barebone is the illegitimate son of Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore's brother. Credence was born from a relationship between Aberforth and an unknown girl from Godric's hollow.
During that summer, Dumbledore had neglected both his brother and his sister and Aberforth soon let him know about it. Aberforth was set to return to Hogwarts and was fed up with Dumbledore's plotting with Grindelwald – in addition to being concerned about Ariana's care.
The Secret Passage was a passageway linking the Hog's Head Inn in Hogsmeade to the Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Castle. It was concealed behind a portrait of Ariana Dumbledore.
Some children were revealed as late-bloomers rather than Squibs, such as Neville Longbottom, but for others (such as school caretaker Argus Filch) their magic would simply never materialise, which could be hard to accept.
It's safe to say there is no cure. Aberforth is the last known alive member of the Dumbledore family. Aurelius is Aberforth's son, he is known as Credence before we learn he is a Dumbledore. As he is an obscurial his life is short, he dies at a young age.
Death. Fifty-three years after his defeat, Grindelwald was slain in his prison cell by Lord Voldemort, who was searching for the Elder Wand for himself. It was only during the confrontation in Grindelwald's cell that Voldemort learned Albus Dumbledore had claimed the wand long ago.

Aberforth Dumbledore was fond of keeping goats for pets, such as Matey, which he kept in his pub in at least 1995. It was a possible corporeal form of the Patronus Charm. Aberforth's Patronus took the form of a goat. Dragons including the Hungarian Horntail and Peruvian Vipertooth were known to feed on goats.
Albus Dumbledore, for example, died when he was 115 years old, which was relatively young for a wizard. Nicholas Flamel and his wife lived more than 600 years thanks to the Philosopher's Stone, but regular wizards can live between 150 and 200 years. The Trolley Lady, for example, is around 190 years old.
Aberforth's son is Aurelius Dumbledore, born after he fell in love with a girl in Godric's Hollow. However, the girl was sent away, either before or after Aurelius's birth. His son was adopted by Mary Lou Barebone and renamed Credence Barebone. Despite the rumors, Aberforth never confided in Albus about his son.
Aurelius was an illegitimate child of Aberforth's. His mother is killed, and as a result Aberforth is unable to care for his son. Credence is taken to America and put up for adoption, a fact known to no one but Leta Lestrange (Zoe Kravitz).
The elder brother: Aberforth the owner of Hogs Head Tavern and Inn in Hogsmead, who we all learned became a father during “Secrets of Dumbledore” movie. Or, the younger brother: Albus, who we all know had no children beside those who attended Hogwarts.
Dumbledore tells Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) that in 1899, during the same summer that Albus fell in love with Grindelwald, Aberforth also fell in love with a woman from Godric's Hollow. They had a baby boy together, but the woman was sent away before she gave birth, and Aberforth never got to be a father.
He did not have any children due to the fact that he was never married to a woman and also because he and Dumbledore had a relationship, therefore meaning he is romantically interested in the same gender. Unless he secretly adopted during his evil reign, there is no chance that he and a witch/muggle woman had a child.
Family. Snape's family background is mostly shown in flashbacks during the course of the last three novels. Snape was born to Eileen Prince, a witch, and Tobias Snape, a Muggle, making him a half-blood (hence the name, "Half-Blood Prince").
Harry describes Umbridge to Sirius Black, saying that she's vile enough to be a Death Eater, despite not being one. Umbridge is also depicted to be a prejudiced person, despising half-breeds and Muggle-born witches and wizards to the point of firing Hagrid due to his half-giant birth status.
