If Bambi's mother didn't die then likely as Bambi gets older she and Bambi would just parts ways and the rest of the movie would remain almost the same. Cause Faline's mother wasn't shown again by the time we see Faline return as an adult.
"Bambi doesn't have a middle name. Her name's literally just Bambi Fury which is mental because I was adamant she would have a middle name. I was so certain," she admitted.
