Ahsoka asks what he wants with Anakin Skywalker. Maul says that Skywalker is the key to everything. When Tano asks if it is to bring balance to the Force, Maul replies that Skywalker is the key to destroy and that he has long been groomed for his role as his master's new apprentice.
She asks him what does he want with Anakin Skywalker and Maul reveals that Anakin will fall to the Dark Side and become Sidious's new apprentice. Ahsoka calls him a lair but Maul reveals that he created this war on Mandalore to bring Obi-Wan and Anakin there to kill him, and Sidious would not get his new apprentice.
It is a small theory that says what Ahsoka was going to tell obi wan to tell Anakin was “You we're my brother Anakin, I loved you” For me, this is likely but I think it is a bit odd that she would tell Kenobi to communicate this exact wording.
She discovers the truth in Star Wars Rebels when she encounters the Sith Lord in a space battle. What she senses is so shocking to her that she passes out. Snips has her suspicions confirmed when she comes face to face with Vader in the Rebels season 2 finale, in a Sith Temple on the planet Malachor.
Maul did not know exactly how Order 66 would play out, but the former Sith apprentice knew exactly that Anakin, the Chosen One, was essential to Darth Sidious' plans to destroy the Jedi Order and take over the galaxy.
And while his warnings don't work, at the very least, it shows that Maul became aware of Anakin and what he would soon become. With the rise of the Empire, it's likely Maul caught on to Vader's existence pretty quickly.
Yep. Darth Maul didn't really say or show straight up that he "feared" Darth Vader, but he openly stated his belief that he could not defeat Darth Vader without the help of the Jedi, therefore on his own.
Anakin Skywalker is Only Just Ahsoka Tano's Senior
At this point in the timeline, Ahsoka was 14 years old. As the animated movie took place in the same year as Attack of the Clones, this puts Anakin at 19 years old, creating a five-year age gap between him and Ahsoka.
Summary. Ahsoka Tano believed Anakin Skywalker was dead after Order 66 because she couldn't sense his presence in the Force anymore. Ahsoka had seen Anakin flirt with the dark side before, but couldn't fathom that he would betray everyone.
R2-D2 was present when Padmé gave birth to Leia and Luke, so he knew Luke was Anakin's son – but what he didn't know was that Anakin became Darth Vader. In addition to that, Anakin's fall was surely a painful event in R2-D2's life, one that he definitely wouldn't like to remember or even talk about.
Ahsoka's portrayal of Anakin with a red lightsaber fulfills the promise that Revenge of the Sith couldn't deliver, showcasing the version of Anakin who would become the most powerful being in the galaxy.
Anakin and Ahsoka arrived to help, and they ran into each other. This was when she finally started having feelings for him. However, he had mostly moved on at that point and was more devoted to avenging his mother than romance with a Jedi.
Ahsoka probably found out soon after Order 66, or just assumed that she was dead. After all, if Padme were still alive, she'd be doing something to actively combat the Empire. Ahsoka also talked to Bail Organa periodically, so there's a good chance he would have told her.
Ahsoka considered an alliance, but after he made it clear he was going to harm Anakin, she turned on him and the two opponents dueled. After capturing Maul, she hoped to turn him over to the Jedi Council but when Order 66 hit, she freed him, just so he could "cause chaos" as a distraction.
Summary. Ahsoka could have joined forces with Maul if he revealed more about Sidious, leading to a different timeline for both of them. A temporary alliance with Maul would have pushed Ahsoka closer to the dark side, but they would eventually clash due to their differing goals.
She senses Anakin when she reaches out to the pilot — and Vader realizes that Ahsoka, his former Padawan, lives on. In Season 2, Episode 18, “Shroud of Darkness,” Ahsoka's guilt manifests as a vision of Anakin, who's angry with her for leaving him all those years ago.
However, Ahsoka episode 7 confirms that the show is now taking place after the Battle of Mandalore seen in The Mandalorian season 3. This means that no matter how much time has passed since Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader is dead, and only Anakin's spirit remains in the Force to guide Ahsoka on her journey.
