With the energy crisis solved, the factory is now focused on making children laugh to collect energy; Mike becomes the company's top comedian and Sulley becomes the new owner. A month later, Mike reveals to Sulley he has rebuilt Boo's door.Sulley enters the door and reunites with Boo.
Resolution: Sully and Mike take over the company and end the energy crisis using laughter, which they had discovered was a hundred times more powerful than scream. Mike reveals that he's reconstructed Boo's shredded door, allowing Sully to see her again. This is possibly my favorite closing scene of all time.

Does Sully ever see Boo again?
a surprise, which turns out to be Boo's door reassembled. The door becomes functional when Sulley places the piece he has kept, and he opens it to see Boo, who (although off-screen) recognizes him by saying, "Kitty!" This gives Sulley a surprised grin on his face as the film closes.

During the last part of the scare Olympics, Sulley roared so loudly that Randall was knocked to the ground, causing him to botch his routine. As a result, Randall was expelled from Roar Omega Roar and developed a hatred for Sulley, noting that it would be the last time he lost to him.

Monsters, Inc 2 never got made. Instead, Pixar made a prequel in Monsters University. Though the movie didn't revisit Boo, it did give fans insight into how Mike and Sully met and became friends and teammates.
