Miles was born on Pandora in 2154, in the Resources Development Administration's colony base, Hell's Gate, to Paz Socorro and Miles Quaritch. His mother was later killed during the assault on the Tree of Souls, just as his father was killed at the hands of Neytiri.

It has been confirmed through Avatar comics that Spider's mother is Paz Socorro. While Avatar: The Way of Water takes place a decade after the first movie, James Cameron's original sequel script did not have as big of a time jump.

Augustine's colleague Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) was the father and Grace conceived Kiri before the end of Avatar before somehow giving birth in her Avatar body. However, the more interesting theory is that Kiri is literally the child of Eywa due to some sort of immaculate conception.
