The final moments of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania featured a humorous bit of internal monologue from Scott Lang. In it, he wondered whether he'd actually beaten Kang or if he'd somehow created a bigger problem.
He sacrificed his ticket home, blowing up Kang's multiversal engine after an incredibly brutal fight between the two. Kang's attempt to escape through a portal to the surface world is thwarted by Evangeline Lilly's Wasp, heroically coming to the rescue.
With Loki now in control of the multiverse, and after his many confrontations and problems with a Kang variant, the MCU can justify Kang's absence by saying that Loki got rid of any Kang variants looking to destroy or control the multiverse, thus avoiding another multiversal war triggered by a variety of Kangs.

Prior to his appearance in Quantumania, though, Majors made his MCU debut in the Season 1 finale of Loki, playing one (of many) variants of his villain Kang the Conqueror named He Who Remains.
The Council Of Kangs Exiled Kang To The Quantum Realm
However, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's end-credits scene confirms that the Council of Kangs did indeed unite against him, and presumably any rogue Kangs just like him, despite seeming to be a corrupt group of villains themselves.
Disabling his suit could potentially strip him of his technological powers and weaken him. Ant-Man has already shown the ability to sabotage technologically-advanced suits like he did with Falcon and Iron Man in previous movies. This could be a key advantage in defeating Kang.
Kang isn't physically stronger than Thanos, and if the two were to square up in a one-vs-one fight then the Titan would arguably win. However, Kang's knowledge of the multiverse means that would quite literally be several steps ahead of Thanos at all times. As a result, Kang wins this battle.
Kang is in the Quantum Realm(QR), and only Ant-Man and his family can access the realm. I guess Kang needs a device which can be acquired only when one goes in the deeper refines of the QR, and only Ant-Man can access the QR in ways no one else can (maybe not even the Pym family).
Kang was trapped in the Quantum Realm with zero access to the Multiverse for a long time, and was full of vengeance and rage against Ant-Man and his family. So I guess he was really desperate and not thinking clearly.
Kang is sucked into the probability field of the energy source, supposedly dying, and the portal back to Earth is closed. It seems like Scott and Hope are trapped inside the Quantum Realm, a heavy price to pay for their victory.
He was exiled to the realm by the Council of Kangs — a group made up of other versions of the villain from throughout the multiverse. Quantum Kang was banished because he wanted to slaughter the council so that he was the only version to exist.
Kid Kang, Kang the Conglomerator, Professor Kang, Kaseo and Cobra are the variants who played limited roles in their timelines. Moreover, Kang of Earth 8386, Earth 7901 and the funny variant, Kranky have been weak versions of the villain.
In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, various versions of Kang are revealed, including Immortus, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, and more. The Council of Kangs, taken directly from Marvel Comics, makes an appearance in the film's mid-credits scene, introducing even more unique Kang variants.
At the end of Quantumania we see the Council of Kangs. There are, roughly, 19 million of them. The movie features three of these variants specifically, and each corresponds to the most famous of Kang's variants. First is Rama-Tut, who is actually the very first version of the character we ever saw in Marvel Comics.
According to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania screenwriter Jeff Loveness, he describes Kang the Conqueror as a "lonely character" who lives in the Quantum Realm and develops the ability to become a multi-dimensional supervillain in Phase 5 of the MCU.
So, Loki is right to be afraid of him because this variant is clearly trying to hide in plain sight. Whatever the Council of Kangs is planning could be coming through him as he could be the new leader of the TVA. Following his trail, Loki must have reached the city of Timely, Wisconsin.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Marvel is now rewriting the projects that will prominently feature Kang to either minimize his involvement or completely remove him — including changing the title of the upcoming 2026 Avengers film The Kang Dynasty.
