The Tree of Souls (Na'vi name: Vitraya Ramunong), is a giant weeping willow-like tree and the most sacred place of the Omatikaya clan. It is considered to be their closest connection to Eywa on Pandora.

It's a gigantic, ancient tree that acts as a sort of communal home for the Omaticaya clan of the Na'vi. The tree has vast spiritual and practical significance for the natives. Spiritually, the Hometree connects to Eywa, the planet's goddess or spiritual force, through a network of bioluminescent tendrils.

When Neytiri was 18 years old in 2154, she met Jake Sully in a Pandoran forest, rescuing him from a pack of viperwolves. Neytiri became his teacher in the ways of the Na'vi. Despite her prior engagement to Tsu'tey, Jake and Neytiri fall in love and consummated their relationship beneath the Tree of Voices.
The Na'vi worship a sacred transcendent entity, called Eywa, who seems to be both Creator of the universe and Mother Goddess. I'm sure it's not coincidental that Eywa sounds very similar to “Yahweh,” one of the names for God in the Bible.
Known to the Na'vi as atokirina, the Woodsprites are seeds from the Tree of Souls. The Na'vi revere the woodsprites and consider them bearers of omens and signs of sanctity. While woodsprites have the appearance of Earth jellyfish, they float in the wind similar to dandelion seeds.
Why did the humans want to destroy the tree in Avatar?

The reference implies that a Na'vi's queue may be considered an intimate area of the body. Removing the queue of Pandoran wildlife has been shown to have severe effects. Despite this, It is unknown what would canonically happen if a Na'vi queue was cut off, but it is still implied to be serious.
For one, even if Neytiri is 18 in human years, she's the Na'vi equivalent of a human in their early-to-mid-twenties. This is proven in three different ways: James Cameron has stated that Jake's avatar body is around 17 human years old.
Assuming Jake feels about 22 and Neytiri feels about 18 also helps ease some of the awkwardness of the ten-year age gap they technically have. There's also only a two-year age gap between Worthington and Saldana, as they were 33 and 31, respectively, when Avatar first came out.
The Na'vi are a fictional indigenous species that live on the fictional world of Pandora in the movie Avatar. They look like humans. They have two eyes, ears, arms, and legs. They also have a nose, a mouth, and expressions that are similar to humans.

Unless that theory is true, Grace was impregnated by someone. Kiri's brothers joke that the scientist Norm could be her father. The movie does not reveal much information about the birth of Kiri. It is unclear whether Kiri was conceived before Grace died and her avatar carried her to term.
