Annabelle Higgins (born Janice) is a major antagonist in The Conjuring Universe. Once an innocent orphan child, she was later possessed by Malthus, the demon inside Annabelle the Doll, turning into an insane cultist who seeks to summon demons into the world.
Her real name is Janice. Unlike the movie, the doll's owner never saw what appeared to be the ghost of a different seven-year-old girl named Annabelle Higgins, who in the film grows up to start a satanic cult.
