Disney on Ice is bringing Magic in the Stars to the United Center from January 25-28, 2024! Disney On Ice presents Magic in the Stars features the most Disney characters in one show including the on-ice debuts of Frozen 2 and Raya and the Last Dragon.
Join Mickey and friends as they meet characters from films such as "Cinderella," "Aladdin," "Cars," "The Princess and the Frog," "Moana," "Frozen 2," "Encanto" and more. The new show hits the ice in fall 2023 and includes the Disney on Ice debut of Raya and the "Frozen 2" versions of Anna and Elsa.
Disney On Ice comes several times a year and they're all about Disney; however, each show covers different Disney movies and Disney characters. For example, Follow Your Heart's main presentations were from the movie Inside Out, Finding Dory and Frozen.
What age is Disney On Ice aimed at? Disney On Ice is a family event suitable for all ages! Although toddlers may not understand the concept of the show, the colours and characters can be healthy for development and the songs and characters will entertain them throughout the show.

For the first time on ice, escape “Into the Unknown” with Elsa and Anna from Frozen 2, hit the road with Disney and Pixar's Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater as they cruise on the ice to “Life Is A Highway,” and reconnect with Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Rex, and Hamm.

The Disney On Ice website advises that “temperature in the arena is typically 10+ degrees cooler than outside.” When I caught Disney On Ice with my fam, I entered the arena prepared for icy-cold air, but the temperature inside was surprisingly comfortable.
Mickey's Search Party is hands down the can't miss Disney on Ice event. We had SO much fun, that my kids begged to go again the next night! Check out some of the amazing scenes from Moana below! I love the use of fabric to simulate flames and the actual fireworks!
How long is Disney On Ice - 100 Years of Wonder? Disney On Ice productions vary in length, but they average between one hour and a half to two hours. This includes a 15-20 minute interval.

Disney on Ice is a magical show for young kids and adults of all ages to enjoy. It's truly a show for the entire family! Both of my daughters (at almost 2 and 4) enjoyed the show and seeing their favorite characters. My sister and I (who are not kid age) also LOVED the show.
All the stories were re-enacted by professional ice skaters, who twirled, jumped, and even took spills with precise expertise. The characters lip-synced to some of the best-known songs from each Disney film as they danced to the same tunes.
