The Klyntar, colloquially and more commonly referred to as symbiotes, are a fictional species of extraterrestrial parasitic life forms appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most commonly in association with Spider-Man.
Eddie Brock as Venom is who most would consider the original character. Though the Venom symbiote was introduced in 1984, the 1993 limited series “Venom: Lethal Protector” was the first to explore Brock's history before he bonded with the symbiote.

The Scream symbiote appears in the Spider-Man series finale "Maximum Venom", voiced by Meg Donnelly. This version is the older sister of the Venom symbiote who was created by Knull to serve as a member of the Symbiote sisters alongside Mania and Scorn.
While we never got to see the original female version of Venom, Eddie Brock's ex Anne Weying did at one point bond with the symbiote to become She-Venom.
The foundation made four Venoms symbiotes, Scream, Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony. Carnage was Venom's first pawn, and he later had two spawns, Toxin and Scorn. The five foundation symbiotes lacked mental development. The four symbiotes, Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony, merged into Hybrid.
Venom is also depicted as having spawned several children—Scream, Lasher, Phage, Agony, Riot, Mania, Sleeper, and most notably, Carnage, who becomes Venom's archenemy after being bound to serial killer Cletus Kasady.
Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.
Venom came to empathize with Eddie's status as a "loser", eventually deciding to turn on its own kind and save the Earth from being invaded. The symbiote ultimately agreed to work alongside Eddie as a vigilante, to only hurt bad people despite its own confusion of how it can tell the difference of who is good or bad.
As you may recall from the first Venom movie, the symbiote was unable to bond with numerous people and left each of its test hosts dead. It wasn't until Venom formed a special bond with Eddie that both the host and symbiote were able to survive.
Toxin. The other symbiote alongside Riot, Scream and Phage is a blue and gold one, which - as initially shown in the Venom trailer - was set loose on unwitting test subjects.
With every symbiote, the ability to spawn a new puts the former in danger, as there is a possibility of the spawn is normally more powerful than the former. Knowing this, if venom were to spawn again, carnage would be rendered useless against the newer spawn, whether it be his or venom's.
While Eddie and Annie weren't physically intimate immediately before or after her stint as She-Venom, she became pregnant with their son; Dylan is essentially a symbiote codex incarnated in human form.
Dylan Brock is the son of Eddie Brock, Anne Weying, and the Venom symbiote. When Anne bonded to the Venom symbiote, the will of the Symbiote Hive caused her codex to incarnate into a human form, with the intent of having the ensuing human/symbiote hybrid destroy their god Knull.
Most folks are familiar with the fact that the symbiote who would come to be known as Venom first bonded with Peter Parker. It got a taste of the power of Spider-Man and grew to love that power. It grew to love the feeling of the wind on its face swinging through the city. It loved the force behind every punch.
"The Nativity" arc in Venom #164 features the alien symbiote becoming "pregnant" and giving birth to the Sleeper symbiote, resulting in Eddie Brock having vivid nightmares and experiencing symptoms similar to an expectant parent.

Marvel's comics explain that Venom has a biological need for the two substances. In the comics, brains and chocolate are prime sources for phenethylamine, a compound that positively affects mood and that Venom needs to live.
