The Naʼvi language (Naʼvi: Lìʼfya leNaʼvi) is a fictional constructed language originally made for the 2009 film Avatar. In the film franchise, the language is spoken by the Naʼvi, a race of sapient humanoids indigenous to the extraterrestrial moon Pandora.

Skin color is due to the presence of the cyanin pigment. It can "tan" to a darker purplish color after prolonged sunlight exposure. Despite their cyan skin color, the Na'vi have red blood, utilizing an iron oxygen-transporting compound similar to hemoglobin.
Inspiration and Development. The look of the Na'vi was inspired by a dream that James Cameron's mother had, long before he started work on Avatar, in which she saw tall blue people, the women having six breasts.
Wild ikran hunt several creatures, such as platebacked lizards, prolemuris, veilswarm, great western tetrapteron, and hexapedes, and are able to snatch fish as they fly over the surface of bodies of water.
