Doctor Strange is a master magician and Sorcerer Supreme, capable of using magic in a myriad of ways. He can open portals, read minds, fly, and more, meaning he could use any one of his abilities to defeat Darth Vader.
As Darth Vader, he was one of the strongest beings in the entire galaxy. But even then, he was never able to surpass his master, Darth Sidious. A Sith Apprentice can only become the master when they murder the one who trained them.
Thor is a way too powerful for Darth Vader, but it is very hard to compare characters from different universes. Most likely Thor will be able to defeat Vader, as he dealt with some villains, who can destroy galaxies. Vader is no match for those, but Thor somehow survived.
Yoda's presence on Dagobah was likely hidden due to his mastery of Force Stealth and the planet's connection to the Force. Yoda, with his enhanced Force abilities and potential home-field advantage, would have had the upper hand against Darth Vader if they engaged in a lightsaber duel.
The only Sith Lord who actually killed Vader, Darth Sidious kept his apprentice in line for over two decades. His true advantage was Force lightning, a power which would wreak havoc on the suit keeping him alive.
In a scenario with Vader and Thanos confronting each other, both characters have massive advantages. Thanos' attacks and power could be a threat against Darth Vader. However, Vader will not lose as long as the Force is with him. The Force doesn't just give a character power; it also controls their destiny.
He is also stated by Palpatine in the Secrets of the Sith book to be “equally as powerful as a real Sith despite not being one”. This gives him scaling above Savage Opress and Asajj Ventress, and ranks him close to TPM Maul.
Darth Vader and Kylo Ren are powerful villains in Star Wars, but Vader's control and training give him the edge over Kylo Ren. Kylo Ren may have raw Force power, but Vader's mastery of the Force and lightsaber skills make him the more formidable opponent.
As seen time and time again, the Sith Lord could easily cut down almost anyone who got in his way, and he rarely ever lost a fight. Yet at the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Luke is able to beat Vader to the ground with relative ease, and so what was different from all of Vader's previous fights?
That said, regardless of Palpatine's true intentions during that fight, Mace Windu is powerful enough to defeat Palpatine. Windu combines incredible lightsaber skills with extensive knowledge of the Force, not to mention unique abilities such as the now-Star Wars canon Shatterpoint.
Marvel's Star Wars: Darth Vader #13 just made it clear that if Darth Vader and Iron Man were ever to clash, the armored Avenger wouldn't just stand a chance against the Sith Lord, but have an incredibly easy way to defeat him - just so long as he employed lethal force.
If anything Vader was much stronger because of his powered armored suit. And Vader's ability to manipulate the Force wasn't any lesser than Anakin's. The one area where Anakin had him beat completely was in his agility. Anakin's agility was what made him one of the deadliest Jedi of all time.
We would have to give the victory to Darth Vader. While the two dark lords seem perfectly matched on their villainy and power, Darth Vader's lightsaber and ability to immediately use the force to choke Voldemort, without chanting any spell would end this showdown in seconds.
Obi-Wan Kenobi soundly defeated Vader in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and is easily one of the most powerful Jedi Vader ever faced.
Wiz: Darth Vader was extremely powerful, certainly capable of obliterating a basic Doombot. However, Doctor Doom himself is in a league of his own. Boomstick: Vader may be the chosen one, but Doom's experience and mastery of magic and science trumped the Sith Lord.
The only way to truly combat the Force is for one to have access to it themselves, which Batman does not have. Thus, Darth Vader destroys Batman in this scenario, no questions.
And Vader could also simply use the force to rip off the gauntlet or simply cut off the Mad Titans hand, or even just hold him in place and strangle him.
In a Vanity Fair interview from 2005, George Lucas went deeper into why Anakin became much weaker as Vader. In the interview, he explained that because Anakin's limbs were severed and replaced by robotics, it was harder for him to use the Force than it was before his battle with Obi-Wan.
Nope. Not one of Sidious's apprentices was stronger than Vader. And Maul himself openly admitted in Star Wars Rebels that he couldn't defeat Vader. So no,Vader wasn't a weak Sith Lord.
