At one time, the order was Uru, (Thor's hammer), Adamantium, Vibranium, in that order. But, since Marvel could not use Adamantium in the movies (licensing reasons, deal with godawful Fox), Vibranium is essentially the MCU's Adamantium and the strongest metal on Earth.
Firstly, Uru isn't indestructible. It's incredibly tough and durable, like Vibranium on steroids, but it isn't indestructible. Anyone with sufficient power can break Uru.
Given the properties of uru, the closest substance we have in our galaxy is metallic hydrogen, and in order to obtain a sample you'll have to travel to Jupiter.
Marvel's Dargonite Is Stronger Than Adamantium and Vibranium
Because it's named after the alternate-universe Thor, it's possible the alloy utilizes the same Uru metal used to forge Mjolnir and Stormbreaker -- the matter found at the core of a dying star.
In Age of Ultron, concentrated energy blasts of sufficient heat and power are also shown to be effective against Vibranium. Thor's lightning, Vision's Mind Stone lasers and Iron Man's repulsor beams were able to melt Ultron's body when used in combination, meaning that high enough temperatures can break Vibranium down.
Swords, knives, and more have been used against Hulk and almost none of them even leave a scratch or mark on him. However, with that said, there are two bladed weapons that can cut into Hulk's skin.
Although vibranium is susceptible to damage, it's depicted as the most durable material in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fact that Thanos possesses enough power to beak vibranium is a testament to the strength of the Mad Titan, but more importantly, the weapon itself.
Because without altering any continuities, if Fox's Wolverine and Marvel's Captain America were to come to blows, the claws would slice through the shield like a hot knife through butter. Vibranium can absorb kinetic energy, but it isn't indestructible (as evidenced by Thanos destroying the shield in Endgame).
-Uru is the same as Adamantium, added with its own magical properties. If 3 characters of the same strength wore suits of the same weight and weilded swords of each metal, then imo the fight would come to a DRAW. Adamantium has no way to penetrate Vibranium, same vice versa.. same with Uru.
Uru is a metal forged in the furnaces of Nidavellir. It is known for its immense durability, resulting in the only way to melt it down for forging is with the power and heat of a star.
This isn't even getting into the fact that, as we saw in Avengers #111 (by Steve Englehart, Don Heck and Mike Esposito), Magneto can control people's minds with his powers, so he could "wield" Mjolnir, in a way, by "wielding" Thor himself... (And yes, it is creepy that he has his daughter dancing for him).
Thanos' return put an end to that, as he easily defeated Corvus and gave him the choice of death at the Titan's hand or at his own. Glaive took his own life as a result.
Stormbreaker has the additional power to summon the Bifröst, allowing Thor to teleport anywhere in the Nine Realms. Screen Rant has identified Stormbreaker as the more powerful of the two, based on this ability, as well as it being a much larger and edged weapon.
While Thor is easily the more powerful of the two, he finds himself incapable of matching Wolverine's speed and agility. The mutant is able to get in several swipes at the Asgardian - drawing blood - and even goes full leapfrog on him, impaling him through the back with all six adamantium claws.
Hulk's inability to break Wolverine and his adamantium claws isn't an indictment of the green monster's strength but more shows how strong Wolverine's metal-coated bones really are.
His adamantium claws are one of the few weapons in the Marvel Universe that can consistently pierce Hulk's skin and Wolverine has no problem going for Hulk's head. In fact, if it came down to it, Wolverine could cut Hulk's head off, ending the Hulk once and for all.
Physically they're pretty evenly matched, but Thanos is just a much more skilled fighter. No stones were used in the fight. Per Joe Russo: "I would say that he's just that powerful," said Joe Russo.
Mjolnir doesn't damage Cap's shield at all, as shown below. I think it is fairly safe to assume that Stormbreaker (being a cutting weapon, rather than Mjolnir which is designed to smash or build) would inflict similar damage to the shield as Thanos sword does. Conclusion: Stormbreaker minces Cap's shield.
