Brahms: The Boy II follows a young boy who, after moving into a mansion with his parents following a traumatizing incident at his previous home, finds a lifelike doll that he becomes attached to.
Plot. Greta Evans travels to the United Kingdom after being hired as a nanny by the elderly Heelshires. The couple introduce Greta to her charge, a doll named Brahms. The Heelshires coach Greta on taking care of Brahms and their house while they are on holiday.

Brahms then began wearing a porcelain doll-like mask so as to hide his mutilated face. His parents, who by then had grown exhausted, and likely aware they could not care for him forever, hired countless nannies throughout his young adulthood in an attempt to find someone to care for him.
Essentially, you discover at the end that the doll Brahms was never 'alive' to begin with – nothing supernatural was occurring. Instead, it turns out that a 30-year-old man has been living in the walls moving the doll around to make it seem like it's haunted.

However, the film ended with a huge whopper by revealing that there was nothing malevolent about Brahms the doll, as the real Brahms was still alive. It was a refreshing twist to the movie, but Brahms: The Boy 2 decided that the doll actually was evil after all.
