Davis family. Andy Davis (voiced by John Morris in all four films, Charlie Bright in Toy Story 3 and Jack McGraw in Toy Story 4) is the overarching protagonist of the Toy Story franchise and the original owner of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the other toys in the first three films.

Why do Sid's toys not talk?
While Sid's toys in Toy Story are still technically alive, they aren't able to display their thoughts and feelings - which makes sense, as Sid still considers them creations, just not ones with personalities - unlike how most children characterize their toys.

The appearance of Sid's signature shirt on a skeleton in the Land of the Dead implies that he died and ended up in the afterlife. Toy Story 5 could potentially confirm or debunk the theory about Sid's fate.
Well, Sid is clearly naturally curious and inventive, and not very naturally empathetic. However, I'm not convinced that Sid is actually a bad kid. He's the villain in the movie because we know the toys are alive, and he doesn't. As far as he knows, he's just experimenting with inanimate objects.
