Alice has been having dreams of “Wonderland” since she was a child. Now as an adult the White Rabbit has returned for her to defeat the Jabberwocky and save Wonderland from the Red Queen.
Alice must destroy the power of the Red Queen and help the White Queen back to ruling Wonderland. To do this Alice must fight the Red Queen's Jabberwocky, a mythical creature. Getting to the Queen is not enough. It still remains to fight the monster.
She is defeated and killed by Alice in the ending. In the second game, the Queen is revived due to the hard mental reboot of Wonderland, although she is no longer in power over Wonderland and she wants nothing more than to be left alone in her decaying land.
The Queen of Hearts is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the 1865 book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. She is a childish, foul-tempered monarch whom Carroll himself describes as "a blind fury", and who is quick to give death sentences at even the slightest of offenses.
When this final bar is depleted, the Jabberwocky roars and bats Alice upwards with its tail; as Alice falls, she uses the Vorpal Sword to strike the Jabberwocky and kill it.

What does Alice fight?
The Queens gather their armies on a chessboard-like battlefield and send Alice and the Jabberwocky to decide the battle in single combat. Alice beheads the Jabberwocky with the vorpal sword, and the red knights gratefully turn against their ruler.

In Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll sought to point out the many flaws of Victorian society. His characters all represent aspects of Victorian England. Through the Mad Hatter, Carroll is seen by some observers as critiquing England's mistreatment of its workers and its mentally ill.
The end of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland includes one additional scene. After Alice wakes up, she tells her adventures to her sister. Alice herself runs off gleefully, and for a moment the reader is left alone with the sister, recalling all the strange characters and weird happenings of Wonderland.
What is the true story behind Alice in Wonderland?
Stubborn, precocious and curious, the character of Alice was based on a real little girl named Alice Liddell, with a brunette bob and short fringe. Alice Liddell was no ordinary muse: she nagged, bossed and bullied Dodgson into writing down her story.
Alice falls in love with the Mad Hatter and they both want to get married. The moment captures their sparking love and happiness. Alice wants to stay forever in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter. But what is White Rabbit doing there and does not seem happy.

In the 1951 Walt Disney animated feature Alice in Wonderland, the Hatter, referred to by others as "The Mad Hatter", appears as a short, hyperactive man with grey hair, a large nose and a comical voice. He was voiced by Ed Wynn in 1951, and by Corey Burton in his later appearances (Bonkers, House of Mouse).
Alice is then called as a witness in the trial of the Knave of Hearts, who is accused of having stolen the Queen's tarts. However, when the Queen demands that Alice be beheaded, Alice realizes that the characters are only a pack of cards, and she then awakens from her dream.
The Red Queen offers advice to Alice, who finds herself running intensely, but not actually moving forward: “Now, here, you see,” says the Red Queen, “it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”
