In news that shouldn't actually surprise anyone, Marvel-famous actor Chris Evans announced that he married Alba Baptista in September, over a month after multiple outlets — citing anonymous sources — reported on the nuptials.
Following their nuptials in September 2023, a source talked with PEOPLE about the couple's initial connection, saying "it was kind of love at first sight" for Evans. "They got serious very quickly," the source said, noting that Evans first met Baptista in Europe. "He kept saying he knew she was the one."
