Rick Jones is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character has been depicted as a sidekick and friend to the Hulk, Captain America, Mar-Vell / Captain Marvel, Rom the Spaceknight, and Genis-Vell / Captain Marvel.
One of his closest friends is Rick Jones, who has a long-standing connection to the Hulk and has served as both his ally and sidekick in various storylines. The two share a powerful bond that dates back to before Bruce Banner became the Hulk, and Rick has helped temper the Hulk's rage on numerous occasions.

It is interesting that Thor has two very different relationships with Hulk and with Bruce Banner. His friendship with Hulk can be fragile at times as they have battled each other and argue often. But they also share a connection as warriors and Hulk even opens up about his anger issues to Thor.

There's also the fact of the Grandmaster's reaction to realizing that the three of them knew each other, or rather that Loki knew that Thor and Hulk knew each other. Hulk is probably one of very few people that has not only laid a hand on Loki but actually kicked his ass and hurt him.

Although there is no question that Hulk's rage makes him a powerhouse, with even the great Thanos afraid to challenge him at one point, the primary emotion that actually prompts Bruce to change is fear. It is not unusual for anger to emerge from fear.
In not so many words, Bruce confirmed that he did have feelings for Natasha, but his fear was too great, and he felt that she would be in danger if she stayed with him.
Thanos and Hulk have clashed several times in Marvel lore, with Thanos even admitting he was scared to face the Hulk before acquiring the Infinity Stones. While Thanos is usually the victor, it's generally down to him using superior tactics and technology, rather than simply possessing greater physical strength.
