Memo Paris Memo is the niece of Pop Fisher, lover of Bump Baily (star of the team before Roy arrives), and one of the romantic interests of Roy Hobbs. She is also materialistic and conniving. Toward Roy, she is often distant and aloof. Reluctantly, she agrees to date Roy after Bump dies.
While Darren McGavin had a major supporting role as the bookmaker Gus Sands, he received no credit.
