Bianca di Angelo was the 12-year-old demigod daughter of Hades (the Greek God of the Underworld) and the late Maria di Angelo, the older sister of Nico, a Hunter of Artemis and one of the supporting characters in the third Percy Jackson and the Olympians book, The Titan's Curse.
Bianca's flaw could also have been personal loyalty or having a much too strong bond with those she loves, such as her brother. This may be because Bianca was killed when she picked up a Mythomagic figurine of Hades, the only Mythomagic figure Nico didn't have, an act of misplaced sibling love.

Later in the book, Bianca comes back as a ghost, through a ritual by Nico. She explains to Nico that her death wasn't Percy's fault and there was nothing he could have done to help, as she made the fatal decision herself.

A watch out from parent to parent: In the 4th book, The House of Hades, the character Nico, who is 14, reveals that he feels same-gender attraction to Percy Jackson. He says he has had a "crush" on Percy for a long time.

Hades is a harsh father and is often demanding and critical of Nico, whom he constantly compares to Bianca, and rarely shows Nico that he does in fact care for and love him.
Unable to rescue his mother at first, Percy defeats the Minotaur and retreats to Camp Half-Blood until he is allowed to go on his own quest with Grover and Annabeth Chase, a daughter of Athena. After ten days, Percy rescues Sally by returning the Helm of Darkness to Hades in the Underworld after a fight with Ares.
