Scream 6's Sam Carpenter is the daughter of Billy Loomis, but Sam and her sister Tara's mother may have also appeared in the original Scream film. In the first Scream, Neve Campbell starred as Sidney Prescott, a high school student coping with the death of her mother and being taunted by a Ghostface killer.
Sam is the illegitimate daughter of Billy Loomis. Sam's mother, Christina, was said to be dating Sam and Tara's father during high school. Sam's mother got pregnant with her before the two graduated.
25 years after his death, it is revealed that Billy had an affair with Christina Carpenter, and she gave birth to his illegitimate daughter, Samantha, who later faces a similar killing spree to the one Billy orchestrated. Billy is portrayed by Skeet Ulrich in Scream (1996).
Early life. Tara Carpenter was born on December 14, 2002, to Mr. Carpenter and his wife Christina. Tara grew up with her sister Sam, who she didn't know was actually her half-sister. In 2010, Sam discovered Mr. Carpenter wasn't her biological father and exposed it to the whole family, causing him to leave.

The close up shot of Tara's face transitions to Jax's face, thus ending season 3. Bridge between end of Season 3 and beginning of Season 4: By the end of season 3 when Jax and the other Samcro members were hauled off to prison, Tara is a little over 8 weeks pregnant.
Scream 7 is officially happening, but fans have been stunned by two unexpected exits from the new movie. Both Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega, who played sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter in Scream (2022) and Scream VI, won't be returning for the new movie.
Throughout the film, Sidney struggles with sleeping with her boyfriend, Billy Loomis, because she's still coping with her mother's murder and isn't in the right headspace. However, she finally has sex with him later in the film, which seems like a bad idea according to Randy's rules.
Not that Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) was very pleased to find out that the guy she'd lost her virginity to - Billy - mere minutes prior was a serial killer. However, unbeknownst to Scream devotees, it wasn't just Sidney who shared a bed with Billy around the time of the first Scream.
In Scream 2, Billy's mother became Ghostface as she sought revenge on Sidney for killing Billy. Later on, Scream (2022) revealed that Billy apparently cheated on Sidney shortly before the original kill spree and unknowingly had a daughter, Sam Carpenter.
Campbell's Scream 6 exit and Dewey's death in the previous film meant only Gale was left, and Sam was the new final girl. Sam is connected to the original Woodboro murders because her father is Scream 1 Ghostface, Billy Loomis.
In the “requel” 2022 “Scream,” two psychopaths on a murderous spree wearing the Ghostface masks were revealed as Sam's boyfriend Richie (Jack Quaid) and his partner Amber (Mikey Madison), crazed fans of the movie-within-the-movie “Stab” series who wanted to be the inspiration for a new reboot.
Throughout Scream 5 and Scream 6, Sam grapples with her identity, wondering if she too has a dark side and is capable of murder. However, neither film features Sam's mother, Christina Carpenter, who would have been present at Woodsboro High School at the time when the first Scream took place.
Unfortunately for Scream franchise fans that may want to see Stu Macher make a comeback, Scream 6 has fairly definitively laid the theories to rest by confirming his death. There is a lingering shot in the film that shows Stu Macher's photo and confirms that he died in 1996.
Now, all movie long, Tara's angry how Sam's overprotective, moving from Woodsboro to the Big Apple to keep an eye on her. Sam can't help it, though, as she thinks she cursed them with Billy's blood in her veins. But by the film's end, Tara acknowledges that she needs Sam close and has to attend therapy to heal.
Sam Will Be Ghostface In Scream 7 One thing the Scream franchise has never done is have a final girl as the Ghostface killer. However, Sam's story is different.
Billy Loomis is the ex boyfriend of Sidney Prescott and one of the first Ghostfaces. While the both of them were dating, he cheated on Sidney with a girl named Christina Carpenter who later on went on to have Billy's daughter, Samantha Carpenter.
In Scream 3, Roman seeks revenge for what he sees as his mother's rejection and abandonment by engineering Maureen's death and trying to kill Sidney, seeing her as having the family-life he was denied.
Sidney finds out about his child much later on and figures he wasn't "patient" with her after all and being unfaithful to her. It is revealed that Billy held hatred inside for Sidney, but stayed in the relationship to stay close to her to execute his plan of revenge for his mother abandoning him.

“Scream 6” rides the momentum of the previous film and ups the ante in every way. It's funnier, scarier and much much bloodier. If you aren't a fan of gore, walk into this film with some caution. The kills are more frequent and take up more screen time than ever before.
