Quaritch swears he will never give up on his revenge, provoking Jake to fight him for the second time. Colonel Miles Quaritch is the main antagonist of James Cameron's Avatar franchise.
Shortly after Avatar opened, Jim mentioned again that the Colonel was coming back, and by then I knew Jim well enough to know that he means what he says and he says what he means. Cameron later confirmed that Quaritch would act as the main antagonist across all four sequels.
Spider Is Quaritch's Son - But He Wasn't In Avatar
Since the comic takes place 14 years after the first film, Spider's origins are told through flashbacks. In the Avatar comics, it's revealed that Spider was born to Quaritch and an RDA pilot named Paz Sorroco while living on an RDA base.
Quaritch is also shown to be emotionally manipulative; he blames Jake for killing "good men and women", despite that these supposed good people are working for a corporation oppressing the Na'vi, as well as massacring the tulkun, sentient beings who can suffer.
Quaritch crushing his old skull and leaving his past life behind would make the perfect catalyst for a redemption storyline since he now fully inhabits and accepts his new body. Quaritch also found himself in a new body with allegiances in the Na'vi community since Spider chose to stay with Jake and Neytiri.

Is Spider the son of Quaritch?
Miles "Spider" Socorro is a sixteen-year-old boy who was born in Hell's Gate as the son of Colonel Miles Quaritch and Paz Socorro. After the death of his parents, Miles remained on Pandora and was adopted by Nash McCosker and Mary after the Pandoran War.
Her father is not a father, her father is another mother, Eywa, the Great Mother, the sentient life force of Pandora itself that exists in all things there, but is rarely understood. So essentially yes, Kiri was born from Eywa just like Anakin Skywalker was allegedly conceived by the Force itself and its midichlorians.
Spider's Mother Is Paz Socorro (Revealed In Avatar Comics)
It has been confirmed through Avatar comics that Spider's mother is Paz Socorro. While Avatar: The Way of Water takes place a decade after the first movie, James Cameron's original sequel script did not have as big of a time jump.
After learning that his identical twin brother Tom has died, Jake agrees to replace him in the RDA's Avatar Program on Pandora, where humans remotely control human/Na'vi hybrids to safely navigate the planet. Lost in the Pandoran woods, Jake is attacked by a group of viperwolves when Neytiri, a Na'vi, saves him.
Unless that theory is true, Grace was impregnated by someone. Kiri's brothers joke that the scientist Norm could be her father. The movie does not reveal much information about the birth of Kiri. It is unclear whether Kiri was conceived before Grace died and her avatar carried her to term.
Augustine's colleague Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) was the father and Grace conceived Kiri before the end of Avatar before somehow giving birth in her Avatar body. However, the more interesting theory is that Kiri is literally the child of Eywa due to some sort of immaculate conception.
The Soul Tree is the heart of Eywa, the goddess that guides all of Pandora. Avatar: The Way of Water illustrates that Kiri has a special connection to Eywa, which means she can wield powers and feel her more deeply than other Na'vi.
However, Neytiri managed to aim two arrows at Quaritch, which killed him and caused his AMP suit to fall to the ground, ending with his menace and avenging the deaths of Grace, Trudy and all of the Na'vi who were killed by Quaritch and his soldiers.
The fully grown avatar is much closer in appearance to the long-limbed Na'vi than to a human. Typical adult size ranges from nine to ten feet (2.75 to 3.0m) tall with blue skin, bioluminescent markings and large eyes with golden irises.
However, following the announcement in May 2019 of three new Star Wars films, the sequels' release dates were pushed back by two years, with Avatar 3, being scheduled to be released on December 22, 2023.
At the end of Avatar 1, Sully decides he wants to remain with the Na'vi, and successfully undergoes the transfer. It's never stated in the films what happened to his body, but in the comic Avatar: The Next Shadow, it's revealed that the Na'vi buried his human form. Speaking of Sully, what did he do that was so bad?
In the film's closing scene, the Na'vi transfer Jake into the avatar body permanently, eradicating his disability and neatly delivering him from his original role as a white colonizer.
She was also rather sadistic and callous, uncaring that her manipulation brought them prolonged suffering. In spite of this, spending time with Rui's family caused her developed an intense fear for him and Father, both of whom had abused her for being weaker than expected.
Kiri is the inquisitive and intelligent adopted daughter of Jake Sully and Neytiri. Not long after Grace Augustine's death, her dormant avatar was discovered to be pregnant, and Jake and Neytiri adopted the child when she was born.
She explains that Eywa is so close to her that she can hear Eywa's breath and heartbeat. Compared to her siblings, Kiri adapted much more quickly to the free-diving lifestyle of the Metkayina and experiences little to no trouble staying underwater for long periods of time despite a lack of training.
Another theory would be that Kiri tapped too much into her connection with Eywa without any sort of training which ended up causing her strong seizure. Her connection to Eywa also allowed her to briefly meet her deceased mother, Dr. Grace, in a vision and even communicate with her.
